If he doesn't, but still releases a CD consisting of those tunes with his name (or that of his radio show, whatever) slapped on it, then he's reaching new levels of turdness as we speak.

A couple of weeks ago on ASOT he said it was a great list with "loads of beautiful records". He probably just said that because he's got 2 tunes in the top 3.

This list makes me feel embarrassed that I listen to ASOT.

I doubt. it's tunes already played on ASOT before and also released on that megamix CD by Armin himself. Why wouldn't it not be Armins personal taste? he've played these tunes in his livesets as well.

I'm not saying that Armin don't like these tunes, he most sertainly do. But what I meant was that if he would make a top 20 of hi's own it probably would look more interesting.

This list is a bit disappointing.
Escape is in my opinion the best tune of 2005.
Some tunes are too low positioned, like castamara.
Too bad Incognition from Ronski Speed is not in the list and some more top tunes like menno de jong presents sayla - majestic (arizona vs passiva remix) or galen behr - time will tell.
There were better episodes of the top 20 in the past.
