Really is nowhere near a big deal.
Jeans ARE allowed ppl.
Basically no running shoes and don't look like a bum = you're IN

If i REALLY wanna see a DJ/act, i'll wear anything but a fuckin dress

oh nice! so we'll celebrate them together! WITH DEEPDISHHHHHHH!

Posted by iLiptikalOrbitZ on Jan-10-2006 05:13:

OK, so I'd really like to go to this BUT if they expect me to dance for 8+ hours, I want to be comfortable. IE big pants, runners, preferably T-shirt...

For dress code I know you should be stylish, but can anybody ACTUALLY confirm if we can wear nice puma/adidas casual shoes. And about pants... how dressy? Dress pants? Jeans? Baggy SNUG/FDCO/Brawd pants?

Somebody please clear this up, because I'm not committing to go before I know for sure. I would really love to see DeepDish again, and of course I want to be there for your birthday Kelly , but I will pass up this party for Johan Gielen on the 28th simply b/c I will enjoy it way more if I don't have to conform to stupid rules.

why do I think about Nada dancing a storm on high heels every night!?

bad excuse buddy

Posted by iLiptikalOrbitZ on Jan-10-2006 05:37:

dude, it's not that my dress shoes are uncomfortable, I just don't feel at home in them. If I am going to dance I want to feel normal, not all dressed up.

All the power to Nada for wearing heels

Posted by slingshot on Jan-10-2006 05:46:

i'd dance in klogs for the dish.

I hear ya...nothing beats comfort. I soo prefer being comfortable that looking pretty. I am sure u can get away with wearing a nice pair of jeans and clean running shoes...

YES THIS IS DEEP DISH - WORLD CLASS TALENT !

Posted by iLiptikalOrbitZ on Jan-10-2006 08:05:

i'm not denying that Deep Dish aren't worth it. Yes they are world class but so is Gielen the next night. If I have to choose between DeepDish and Gielen, and DeepDish has a shitty dress code i'm picking Gielen.

Fridays is gonna be different then Saturdays with the dress codes ... from what I know there's not hats allowed.

I'm worried for myself From what I heard, I'm ok with my dressing, just as long as I don't wear my baseball hat. I hope I can wear my running shoes ... There's a meeting coming up very soon with all the promoters, and I will fill you guys in with the dress code. Pray for me ... b/c I don't want to wear dress shoes + formal wear.

Sincerely,

John

Or, are ppl just getting in what will be an enormous line around 12 and paying $20 at the door...

Who is throwing the event anyway?
