That list would only be impressive if it included Mauro Picotto.

Fahad was actually telling me that he goes sober (no drugs or alcohol) all the time...and if you know Fahad...then you'll know that he always stays all night, sometimes going to two parties or driving to Montreal right after. His best piece of advice I would say...is that he goes to bed at like noon and wakes up at 8 or 9...so when he goes to parties it's like he's just waking up for the day. Not only do you not just barely make it through the night...you end up having a lot of energy to give it your all on the dance floor!

Dance hard! none of that 2 step crap. and do it for like 6-8 hours.. u'll know what i'm talkin about

I always go sober no alcohol or drugs and have no problems. It's not that difficult to dance all night hard and sober. Eat healthy food; get sufficient sleep and your set. I would also refrain from getting too hammered like everyone else stated because your blood sugar levels will affect your body in a negative way.

You obviously like the music so going sober shouldn't be an issue. The music should be your drug. If youre unable to dance hard for 8 hours so what. It isnt a competition. Take some breaks, drink and socialize with friends. There is no rule that says you must dance the entire time your in the club.

I think if you have the urge to pop and anticipate it you might be developing dependence. If youre feeling like you cant party without popping then I think you should take a longer break from the scene in general. It seems like a correlation between you going out clubbing and popping has formed. Take away the triggers.

Like several people said before moderation is the key.

Thats my two cents worth

Hence (hate using that word), there 3-4 times/year

whether you like it or not, you have started the war.
does weed alter your natural state of being? if yes, it is a drug. if no, it is not a drug.
if you answered no then there is no point for you to smoke weed.

SAY NO TO DRUGS AND ALCOHOL

ITS BAD

i despise evryone that does either of those...including advil and tylenol inducers

Posted by Dufouria on Jan-09-2006 16:02:

I developed an irregular heatbeat so my using E had to disappear so I was worried that I wouldn't be able to keep up with my friends, but I noticed as long as the music is good and there are good people around, I had just as much fun, sometimes even more.

Posted by loca on Jan-09-2006 16:05:

I'm _sort of_ able to last completely sober (no drugs or alcohol). My biggest problem is even if i love the music i get SO TIRED after a certain time (usually around 2 - 3 AM) because i'm an early - if you can call that early - sleeper.
Haven't popped for almost 5 months now and still feel no need to do it. It's almost like i've outgrown it or something. Blah. If i ever do it again it would have to be for some MASSIVE event. But at least i know i can enjoy myself just as much without it! The only thing i don't like is when people around me are rolling balls, makes me nostalgic lol. Doesn't make me do it though

*edit*

And quoting Dufouria, i also somehow developped an irregular heartbeat, which sucks ass. That's one of the reasons i really don't want to pop anymore.

Thats exactly it. So many people think its more of a drug problem, but thats exactly how I feel. The music is sooo good that you keep wanting to go on longer, but like I said like 5 times allready, its so hard cuz ur body gets worn out. But I had agood time regardless, excpet I was waaaay too tired yet at the same time I didnt feel like leaving

I don't know. I've thought about it though! Maybe it was an underlying problem that would have started later in life but because of the e got kickstarted early? No clue Another thing i started getting after the last time i dropped was intense panic attacks. My last pop was so bad i only have terrible memories of the night.

Posted by LKD on Jan-09-2006 19:06:

i was born with an irregular heart beat and i dont have any consequences due to anything ive done despite this heartbeat thingy

no fuckin way! same here. All of a sudden I started getting panic attacks like a little over a year ago. That's pretty much when the irreular heartbeat started. And it's not something that I wouldn't have noticed beforehand

That's really weird. It was the same for me, first the panic attacks, then the irregular heartbeat. That's totally messed.
Did you notice a rise in your blood pressure as well? Or is yours still good?

i'm a competitve runner and I don't eat red meat so mines pretty good, but yeah, the panic attacks started , then the heartbeat. I've never heard of this side effect

Posted by geroin on Jan-10-2006 04:21:

side effect? are you serious..
E fucks around with your brain
some people are left braindead after doing it just a couple of times
what did you expect to happen?

E also speeds up your heart rate by like "100times", i remember touching my exgf's heart and i felt like it was going to blow up cuz it was beating so fast
then she started having heart pains and irregural heart beat some weeks later
i hope this answered your question.

Posted by Dufouria on Jan-10-2006 04:27:

oh i'm well aware of the side effects on your brain. just wasn't sure if taking E could contribute to an irregular heartbeat

And in a lot of people aren't. I'm sure there's a lot ofpeople here hwo have done E more than a few times and aren't braindead right now.

As far as the beating heart, i'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that she was dancing in a stuffy club, right?

Good point. I find that while on E, or after, while comming down, I found that blazing usually made me VERY antsy, made my heart jump all over the place, at very irregular intervals.
