the only thing i've ever seen probably worse than that was i saw part of the beheading of Mr. Johnson, the contractor in iraq from a link once. I was in my basement and I literally felt sick and I felt like i was gonna faint, i had to go outside and get air and i can still see that shit in my head today like it was new. Glad i saw it though because it makes me realize how fucked up shit is there.
Oh and Pariah Cleric, for your atrocious comments in this thread we should get your dickskin skinned alive. See how you like it.

| Originally posted by idoru I'll agree with the majority of the people here, in that what the video portrays is fucking inhumane, disgusting, and all-in-all wrong. However, who's to say that 100% of all fur clothing is from animals who have been skinned alive? Sure, there's a percentage of them skinned alive, but I'd be interested in seeing the number of animals not skinned alive. |
lol, okay, all joking aside. That is pretty fucking bad. I'm sure, however, that isn't the way the skinning is normally done.
DA, no hard feelings.
There should be some kind of warning for more sensitive viewers if you feel compelled to post a link like that. At least say what it is, not everyone wants to watch shit like that.
Dumbass.

I feel in a way indirectly J lo is doing the right thing for these animals, by potraying fur as 'posh', which leads to high price and hence limiting demand.
I was talking to someone at work about this and apparntly they dont kill the racoon first because when a racoon dies the skin withers, shrinks and tightnings up, which doesnt give the fur that quality clean feel.
Maybe theres a reason for that...

Atleast it helps in keeping the prices high. When the little girl ask for it, her mom say 'no sweety, you will spoil it, its too expensive for you to have one now, you can get one when you are 19 years old.' And when she is 19 I think she should be sensible enough to think of Jlo as a slut and Fur coat a blood on her.
These greenpeace activist go to fashion shows and spray paints model wearing fur, shouting 'No fur'.
But let me tell you; the day these fashion houses stop selling fur coats as an exclusive expensive clothing material, prices will plummet or atleast come down significantly.
Activists say 'When buying stops, killing can too.'
But its not like that, you and me not wearing fur wont stop this killing.
When buuying stops prices comes down, demand increases as a result of low prices and killing increases.
Fur becomes cheap and poor people starts buying it for warmth. And the day fur becomes a household item, racoons become extinct.
The only way to stop this brutal killing of alive animal is to BAN FUR TRADE WORLDWIDE. Just like Ivory trade and whale fishing.
Eurgh, this sort of thing really gets me down. Humans can be so evil and twisted sometimes - it's bad enough that we treat each other like shit, let alone prey on helpless animals in barbaric, torturous pursuit of something as worthless as a mere fashion item. It makes me sick to my stomach, it really does.
Fur is blood on you, fur is tears on you.
That is truly horrific - hell on Earth. That's one of the worst things I've ever seen. Makes me sick to think that we share a world with the "people" who do this.
Im opposed to such cruelty, but you guys dont get the picture
This isnt some big Fur manufacturerer...This was just some poor old mother****** with no heart trying to make money.
Having videos like that out there, people are trying to convice the public that all companies mistreat animals like, when in fact fur manufacturers are constantly being monitored about how they deal with animals. IF they properly kill them and such.
then again, what the fuxk do i know
OMFG I JUST CRYED
I cant beleive this shit.
Its like that thing I saw on tv, where these japanese scale, and fry a fish while its still alive, and these people are picking the meat off of it and eating it while its impaled on the plate squirming around.
Jesus christ. Why can't they kill the fucking thing quickly before this shit.
What are these people fucking sadistic peices of shit who get joy knowing that their clothing/food is suffering.
EDIT: I better clear up, I'm not saying this at any culture, as there is no culture where every single person accepts animal cruelty. I am aiming this at the individuals who actively engage in these activities only.

I watched this yesterday and it gave me nightmares last night
I used to think that there isn't that much difference between wearing fur and wearing leather shoes, but if animals have to be skinned alive just for the quality of the fur then there totally is.
I'm glad I watched it though - this isn't the kind of thing that should be swept under the carpet. It's no use being ignorant over this kind of thing and although I was affected by it (even though I'm not even that much of an animal lover), I'm glad that I'm enlightened.
that was the grossest thing i have ever seen.

I didn't look at this thread and the moment I make this post I have just opened it.
That is beyond cruel.
Oh and the person filming it? If it was one of the guys who participates in such cruelty,he needs to get what he deserves, if not, then he can't have been much of a human being, yes putting that on the net for people to see,to fight cruelty to animals,is good... but to have that restraint from putting the animal out of its misery, and putting the guy skinning it into a new type of misery? I can't believe he held back from doign something, being stood that close.

Its one thing when tribes in africa use the furs, but then take note that first, they kill the animal, and then they use the meat for food. This is not whats happening in the fur industry. They're being killed only for the fur. Its a really sad day when people just start accepting this behavior, regardless of if its an isolated incident or isnt. |
