Tiesto is the shit and the reason I entered the scene in the first place.....too bad everytime I go see him live now, the placed is sooo overpacked I can never enjoy myself!!

I have to listen to his ass at home until he cools down...........

Posted by Tiesto4Life on Jan-26-2006 04:45:

one way or the other, half of the people who make fun of him will be there at his gig so that shows you something about their type of character.

the man is a legend and it doesn't matter what he facking does with his life now nor how much coke he snores, he will always be a legend.

people talk shit about how he's a bad producer when really they don't know shit about trance music. if you say he's a bad producer then you're just stupid. if you say that he can't spin, you're even more stupid. but if you say you don't like his type of music b/c you prefer something else then you're normal. b/c his productions exceeded most dj's and talent as a dj is tremendous. what i've witnessed at montreal this december was that the guy can do almost anything and incorporate anything he wants into a song. what he did to flight 643 to close his set at medley, IMO only PVD or Digweed has those kind of skills.

I have to admit even for myself that I enjoy Tiesto's sets more from 3-4 years ago. His magik series is one of the best there ever was and will be. his in search of sunrise series is one of the most chilling sets there are as well. and his singles that he produced are one of the kind. he still made an amazing in search of sunrise 4 cd, he played a set which i know many didn't like in july but didn't like only for the crowd b/c if you take a closer look at some of the songs he played, only a few months later they became mainstream and popular. but it's what he did at the end of the year with heiniken music hall set + the set from medley that surprised me the most b/c he played all sorts of genre from those sets and it was what a classic dj can do. not only one type of music but incorporated all styles into one and it was smoother than silk.

bottom line, if you don't like him that's fine but don't facking go and post all this shit about him b/c i don't go posting shit about how i think that dj Addy sucks or someone's who not famous b/c if a dj reaches fame and is recognized around the globe, that doesn't mean you can throw cheese at him.

See, when making blanket statements like that, it's very important to point out the #1 WHAT.

Otherwise people assume, get confused, and a whole boatload of trouble arrives.

so once again, the #1 what?

With all the Tiesto bashing...yes I'm not happy with all of Tiesto's productions, performances or decisions he's made in the last few years. But I will not deny the fact that the man is one of the reasons I started listening to trance, he has spun some LEGENDARY sets (i.e. Trance Energy 2000...I don't think anything will ever top that), and he has also made some LEGENDARY amazing productions as well as mix compilations.

Not everyone can stay on top forever...look at Michael Jackson! Tiesto's had his glory days in my opinion...but glory days those were!

So let's have a drink to the man...here here...

Fiddy Cents is a god then, the " " ws shot 9 times and he would not die. Thats why so many people go crazy about him. He is the god.
