i hear what you're saying about negativity.. i think for me i just ignore that stuff so easily that i don't even notice.. but then i look in an appreciation thread and it's fluff.. but i would rather those than negativity for sure.. i usually follow your philosophy and avoid posting in threads like this one.. guess i just wanted to point out that some appreciation threads were cool, and some fluff..

i vote for ppl worrying to much about shit.

im of the mentality, if u dont like it, dont open the thread (and we all should tone down our complaining too).

as for all the threads.. meh, who cares!
I skip over tons of DL threads, political threads and other usless threads.. it is part of being on a forum.. you get used to it!
It means spending less time on TA cuz they are just threads you don't want to read anyhow and more time doing something more useful with your time then sitting in front of a computer analyzing what others are posting on TA.

Grrrrreat stuff. Yes. I have an opinion though, and so does Jeff and, apparently, a whole bunch of people on here. We don't like those retarded threads. If you read the last thread this all started in, we weren't even the ones who suggested the poll idea. We're not actually telling you guys to pack it in, we're just saying that those threads suck ass, and we're giving you reasons why. appreciation threads aren't bad once in a blue moon....but they can get quite excessive...it seems like it's sort of a bandwagon type thing...everyone just wants to jump on...

everyone on this board has something good about them and they are appreciated in one way or another...this is a given. an appreciation thread could be started for every single member on this board....because every member deserves it...

but i can totally sympathize with the people this bothers because like alot of things on ta, it can get quite excessive. and we all know that too much of something is never a good thing.
