Best-ever is an opinionated term and it has no relevance to what I said

Not really, but since that was my point all along it makes your comment more or less irrelevant as well.

That is his best-ever...

Thrillseekers - Dreaming Of You (Svenson & Gielen Mix)

good use of the supersaw for once.

"No, his opinions are just wrong" itself without a smiley does speak for itself that it's not a serious comment. It isn't logic at all

Anyway, I also think that the word "uplifting" doesn't just mean any good trance tune. It does indeed mean what most people refer to as "uplifting". Of course as mentioned, there are different opinions about that too.

Ny tune suggestion was based on "uplifting" although as someone said earlier... I guess he was just looking for some good trance tunes =)

A random tune that just came to mind.
Push - The Legacy.

If you honestly believe that the tracks you suggested are representative of the best that trance music has to offer, then that's great. Wonderful. But I strongly suggest that you get your ears examined by a professional as I doubt that anyone with a decent sense of hearing would agree with your outrageous, fraudulent claim.

Oh fuck off chav ****!

just DIE.

Three Drives on a Vinyl - Greece 2000 (DJ Shog Remix) Older track, but it still get's me movin'

Eric Lidstroem - Lightfields, I like this track a lot very melodic.

Young Parisians - Jump the next train (Kyau vs. Albert Remix), One of the few vocal tracks that I don't find cheesy, more commercial but I like it anyways.

Telepopmusik - Breathe (Original Mix), I don't know if this actually trance, but I really enjoy this track for just relaxing. Soothing is the best way to describe it.

Fire and Ice - Samoa, good track and quite melodic.

Daft Punk - Alive, since I think I already stepped out of the realm of trance with Telepopmusik, I would give this track an honorable mention as one of the most classy, danceable tracks I can think of. This track will be 10 years old in mid-2007, and it's still awesome. If you like House at all, and haven't heard this track do yourself a favor and give it a listen.

Iio - Smooth (Airscape Remix), Another commercial track, but I love the hell outta this song.

Funny I find 90% of tracks people have listed so far nowhere near uplifting. Good, but not uplifting.

Posted by Tetraflux on Feb-04-2006 08:24:

mr sam vs fred baker 'forever waiting'

That's a good Fire & Ice suggestion, but I prefer Para Siempre.
But then again, Para Siempre is quite a sad song so I guess your choice was right!
And as for Smooth, I think you meant Iio - Smooth (Airbase Remix).

I Have 5 favourite Uplifting Trance tunes actually.

Paul van Dyk - For An Angel (Marc van Linden remake)
Ron van Den Beuken - Overdrive
Young Parisians - U Write the Rules (Solarstone remix)
Solid Globe - North Pole
Push - Strange World (2000 Remix)

Hope you like any of them. If you want something new or maybe a little bit more Uplifting, you should check the Trance radio stations online, they have some really good music.

Cheers!
