I know all too well how it is John. Plenty of times i have had things go wrong at the door with my lists in the past (over charging, no name, etc.) and it is VERY frustrating. I hope you know my posts were in no way directed at you or the promotions team in general, but was strictly towards 'Inspector Bouncer'.

Overall i have enjoyed my experience at TiL, and i think it has great potential.... but the attitude received by many from this same individual is enough for most to look elsewhere for a place to have a good time on a Friday night.

I love heading out dressed casual and in my runners so I can dance all night in comfort. However I know there are many people who can't stand the "sketch" factor that they always seem to mention whenever the words CoZo, Boa, or Guvernment are brought up. These are they types of people that TiL is for. A night of fun for them is getting dressed up, spending lots of money, and seeing how desirable they can make themselves to the opposite sex. Whether you like it or not, this type of crowd exists and they're what the management of the club are trying to capitalize off of. It's just business, so don't take it personally.

In conclusion I just want to say that there are many places to party if you don't feel like dressing up, so I don't see what there is to complain about. I would understand if TiL was the only club in Toronto, then yes they should change the way they operate because that wouldn't be fair, however that's definitely not the case. If you don't like the type of crowd they are catering to - then just go somewhere else. But If you REALLY want to get into this club, then just fuckin' dress up for once, it's that simple.

^^^ I think most of us were choosing to go to TiL b/c of the DJs that were playing there. I know I went b/c I really wanted to see Deep Dish a few weeks ago...and Scumfrog is one of my personal favorites. If I were to go out on a regular night, there's no way in hell I would choose TiL to go too. But I went b/c of the music.

I don't mind if they want to have a dress code and they are going to enforce it. They want to be a more upscale club, than great. But that is no excuse for how they've been treating a lot of their customers for no reason at all.
