I never cheer for the USA...but I kinda was tonight. It's like Canada in hockey or England/Germany/Brazil/etc in soccer. When those countries aren't involved, it's just not as special.

Their bats were horrible though. Jetes was brutal in that last game. On with ST i suppose. ANd go korea.

pathetic... I'm glad the USA is out, I couldn't handle another crappy performance in the Semis...

Once that bad call with Japan happened, I couldn't take USA seriously anymore.

Byung Hyun Kim gave up a big home run that broke the scoreless tie and probably brought back memories of the 2001 World Series

that Kim guy has always sucked ass. I'm not surprised he blew it (again) with everything on the line. I'd stay away from that mind job if I were an MLB team.

There is no law against American citizens from going to Cuba. We just don't have direct flights there. It's against the law to have any commerce with them.

As an American, I have no reaction to your comment because it's about baseball... not communism. I don't mix the two.

so Ive only watched like the last 2 innings of the Cuba Puerto Rico game cause of my current vacation, which is wierd to me cause I was the one that was hyping this tourney up since like a year ago in this sports forum haha.

The highlight of all of the 3 innings of this I have seen has got to be the Mexicans beating the US and celebrating..........then I found out they were eliminated too

and at them being so stupid

I'm rooting for Japan cuz I have a thing for Asian women. Doesn't really make sense but I'm sticking to it.

I was rooting for Cuba to beat the Dominicans cuz I'm usually for the underdog if it's not my teams.

USA losing wasn't a surprise. We had guys like Randy Winn and Jeff Francoeur leading the charge. Decent talent but not our best. Combine that with not as much passion as the other countries... you have yourselves a .500 record and a boot out of the tournament.

What was with Teixeira going 0-15? My boy was playing like A Rod would normally do in crucial situations.

and yeah I saw how the puerto ricans were into the game I saw, they even dance salsa between innings, Ive seen all this be4 but yeah maybe the USA fans and players can learn a thing or 2 about the passion for the game Latin America has

although I rather would have liked the Korea v. Cuba.... I'll take this final...

and I'm praying the Cubans win it all...

Korea wins all previous games against Japan, but loses the one that counts the most.
