So, it seems most students are pretty split on the whole strike thing.
For me, I wouldn't mind if they did, most if not all of my work I do at home anyways, and I have my assignments already. So basically if they do go on strike it means I can sleep in, do homework during the day, and party at night. Sounds like a good deal to me 
*edit* I'm done school for the day, so now I'm just waiting to hear if I can sleep 2moro :-P

I'm taking a class at GB and my teacher said he would be teaching regardless of the outcome. then again, I don't think there will be many picketers on a saturday.

this IS funny though. gotta love stern! made my day thinking that i might have to teach koreans how to use the /l/. teaching ESL will never be the same for me from now on ...

S@Y here too I have mixed feelings about the whole thing...but since I haven't finished some assignments a break would be nice...as long as they just extend the semester and NOT cancel it. 1 or 2 weeks wouldn't hurt.

So they arent happy with a nearly 13% wage hike over 4 years eh?
And people wonder why I think unions should be abolished?
On average your profs would be making 8000-18000 more per year after ONLY 4 years!! Who else on the planet gets that kind of wage? AND IT'S STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!?!?!?!?
So listen, next time tuition goes up don't blame the government. Thank your ever so greedy profs who are probably the same ones that critisize the government for not enough education spending. If they cared so much they would settle for the same workload with a raise equalling that of inflation. (most people arent even lucky enough to get that much!)
