its been 2+ months since SOHO nights have been going on. those that had a problem initially with the club havent gone back, some others have faced problems on the second or 3rd time they have gone.
initially it was considered to be minor glitches that needed to be straightened out. now its just strange how every seingly SOHO review thread seems to have as many complaints as it does compliments...
theres really no point in everyone arguing here because those who have chosen to like or dislike the night will keep it that way. just state whey u like/dislike it..thats all

hey guys, lets just close this topic. forever. Our complaints is nothing but the promotion for the shittiest club ever. I see some stupid idiots who havent been to TiL before but are dying to go there just for the reason to get inside, and tell everyone how COOL and STYLISH they are! I dont want to promote this ***hole. do you?
I know who I am, and I know TiL is not worth my time.
ps. Sorry to tell you, but average TiL crowd doesnt know a shit about style and fashion. Even less they know about the music. hahahaha, Vlad, imagine these ppl coming to VIP Moscow clubs. hahaha.

I went once...waiting in line was a bitch but everything inside was cool. Definitely hot women there.
I once waited in line at Loblaws to buy smokes and after 15 minutes they finally told me they didnt carry my brand.I'm going to make a thread now to see if you love loblaws or hate it.
TiL can do what they want......no matter how wrong it may be. I'm sure the majority of us that don't like the club or won't go to the club would have no problem with it if the style code was actually defined and not left to the bouncers to make the decision. If they turned around and said only dress shoes, collared shirt and slacks for guys then I'm sure we would go and wear that. I wear a suit everyday so dressing up is not a big deal to me.
I said I would never go to TiL as soon as I saw what they consider to be a style code because it was obvious that all they wanted to do was let the people they wanted into the club. If this is what they wanted to do then they should just have everyone e-mail a picture of themselves to get on guestlist. If they like the way you look you get on guestlist. If you're not on guest list you don't get in.
You have to remember that TiL wants you to believe that this is the place to be....from what I've seen its mostly guys that don't seem to get in....that's because they are limiting the number of guys inside the club. they are not the first club to do this. If you want to get in badly enough then slip the bouncer $60 bucks....you will get in for sure.
For those who will never go to TiL don't worry....any DJ you want to see will be at another venue at some point in the next year so you will get your chance to see them and not have to stress over wether or not you fit the style code or not.
P.S. Fuck TiL

I think the more complaining people do, the more likely their target clientele will actually want to go.
For those who really dont like what this club stands for, you're better off simply not going.
I was completely shocked when I had one of their doormen scream in my face for making a legitimate comment, i was steamed for a week or so, but then realized that this type of treatment you may expose yourself to when attending TiL.
When I go, I dress as I always do.... a pair of pumas, longsleeve t-shirt, and jeans.... I personally don't feel like altering my comfort to dance at a club until the sun comes up. If they don't let me in, meh.
Also, lets not forget that their "target" clientele isn't close to being the majority on this site; yet they still advertise their events here.

| Originally posted by chinamon there are many clubs that leave everything to the bouncer's discretion. look at los angeles, miami, nyc, etc.. toronto gets one club like this and everyone cries. people just need to suck it up and realize that they are not the club's target clientel and move on. these are the people that want to be part of an "in" crowd but dont like to admit that they arent. i know that im not what TIL wants in their venue and i accept that. i prefer footwork on fridays anyway. |
