lots of people there that i havent seen before. i used to go to parties and recognize people, not anymore altho, there were quite a few good looking guys there

pvd seemed to have a much better time last night than he did last year. the set up was done nicely, except for the fckin lasers that were put at the same level with the dj set up so if you stood at the back by the bar they'd hit you right in the eyes, right where the sound and the view are great

i was disappointed with how ticket sales were handled. lots of people probably didnt go because they expected tickets to be $100+ at the door when they were $65, even less than what they were on clubvibes the day of. but whatever, who the hell am i to say anything

decent show, was not worth losing sleep over tho

OMG was that set ever HARD! It was like John Flemming without the
crazy psy near the end. Tiesto made me sweat a bucket, but PvD took TWO!

One last thing, can't they do these shows at the COMMODORE???
Or, can someone of the rich people build us a new venue with a REAL
sound system!! .. For a city this large and as wealthy I think someone
should pull a few investors together and get us a REAL venue.
Only for the reason Commodore seems to be pre-booked with rock shows
and what not .. so .. unless we want Tiesto on Monday nights ..
we need a NEW better VENUE!! .. RICH PEOPLE UNITE and DO THIS !!

and i was realli surprised that he spins doom's night by icey.
damn that was realli big surprise, cuz some of my frd there they are breakbeats lovers~ so....they went crazyyyyy!!!
and....compare last time he spins @ plush. this time eventho crowed not as pack as last time but...PVD ROCKS this time for sure!!!

i wuld like to know why can't more showz be done at the Commo as well. if i recall, the last non House of Blue electronica show there waz the Derrick Carter in the fall of 2004.that show wuz ended early cuz there was a fight. sum say sum1 threw a chair, sum say sum1 was stabbed. no one has a clear answer, but there was a fight for sure. after that, no more showz at teh Commo.

so it seems now only House of Blue electronica shows happen there? there is another electronicaHouse of Blue show going there this longwkend.

The sound at Plush sucks compared to the Commodore! I was front and center at Tiesto and didn't have to wear earplugs. No ringing ears after the Tiesto show. I wore earplugs last night and my ears were ringing a little when I got home! The sound at Plush is too loud and distorted.

Overall, it's the cost of using the venue plus including having Ticketmaster as the ticket provider that makes doing shows at the Commodore difficult.

The LTJ Bukem show was @ Commodore.

mmmmmmm pvd at commodore in 2001, i think, was amazing!

Vancouver is so lame. I cant believe you fools would pay $55 to see a 8pm-12am show - I dont care if PVD teamed up with DJ Jesus our Saviour himself.

Ive seen PVD many times - and shutting 'er down at midnight like we're in gradeschool is just the lamest thing I've ever heard of. 8pm start! LOL. I hate this town. See you TA's at the next T.O. show PVD plays at 1am when he's just walking on stage.

generally speaking, yess the sound at the Commo is much better.however, in Plush's case, does it not depend on who the promoter is?i hve been to several showz @ Plush,and I have noticed a trend for certain showz. some showz have better sound than others..so this means that whomever is throwin the party that specific night is bringing in their own sound?

i thought the sound for the Above&Beyond show last year was pretyy good. can not say the same for TallPaull and Marco V.

Why does start/end time matter? Doesn't it matter how long the DJ plays? Or do you get more enjoyment the later a DJ is on? Weird concept.

you can come hear the exact same music at any of our nights @ cyber nightclub and probably get in for free and party until 2-3am
