PvD - Politics of Dancing IMO... but maybe it's just cuz I like PvD so much.

POD is timeless! Even 10 years from now when you pop the CD back into your system and listen to it again, you will still love it as much, maybe even more! Everytime I listen to POD I find something new about it. It has a lot of little details put into it that make it so special. So POD is better IMO.

look lets settle this, its all personal preference, each dj has their own style for track selection and mixing, if you like ferrys style then get tn2001, if you like the way pvd did the cd, then get his, its all about what gets u pumped, theres no right or wrong track/cd

That's exactly POD advocate's point. If you take away style/preference differences and judge the CD solely on technical and innovative merits. POD will clearly win. Hands down.

i totally prefer Trance Nation 5(2001). I'm a big PVD fan, but i just dont like what he did with POD. It's SOOO monotone, same baseline throughout the cd's. A

t least Ferry keeps it varied and interesting, with the tunes which "lift" me up then take me down.....after all, this is the kind of trance i fell in love with in the beginning

which do you like better/ prefer more?

back to getting my studies on

trance nation 2001 is nice but has lotsa commercial gayness embedded in it, and pvd cd jsut gets botted by all the pvd fans regardless of crappy tracks.

i hope you enjoyed my unconstrcutive comments.

thankyou for reading.

PoD isn't simply a CD for me, I see it as a work of art.

TN2001 is a good CD, both CD1 and 2 are great but it simply isn't as good as PoD.

If there is a mix CD that shows how it needs to be done than it has to be PoD

PvD - PoD

Ferry's mixes are a bit too commercial for me. MoS is telling what they want on the CD. 22 tracks in 74 mins? comon...
