Miles & M.O.R.P.H. - Life Less Ordinary

^That's the full name

Life, not Live

(after some confusion it's fixed now: LIFE)

Lol; I've seen this edit...
Life doesn't even sound right.

Anyway; great news... Looking forward to that

Hmm..I think "Life" sounds much better than "Live", both would make sense tho...

Anyway,...

If they only had given some explanation WHY this album had been delayed e.g. producer quarrels or something like that, instead of 'unfortunate events behind the scene' it would've made sense to delay it a while. But this album better be worth the waiting because nearly all tracks have leaked already, making the songs pretty outdated to keep on playing.

Wasn't this album scheduled and announced for May or something? I don't know if I'm still so eager to buy it as I used to be...
Salescount will drop significantly because of this.

Oh well.. Carry on and flame me for that; it's just something I'd need to say.

Please reveal a tracklist soon!

Dear fans & friends,
many of you are asking "what happened to the Miles & M.O.R.P.H. artist album ?".
Yes, it's right: It's still not released, and we are really sorry about that! There have been several reasons why the album just could not be released yet, and you all deserve to get a little info about what's going on:

The originally planned album will NOT be released. But don't panic right now!
At the moment Alex is on fire, working in the studio on loads of new stuff. The mega success of "Life Less Ordinary" was a big motivation for him to become more creative than ever.
The album will be completely reworked with new productions, instead of bringing you an "old" album with only played out tracks, which alone wouldn't have a chance to mark an outstanding artist album anymore.
The original concept of bringing you a 2CD DJ-mixed album with singles, co-ops and remixes, changed to a full fledged artist album.
All you need is a little bit more patience - and trust in Alex.

Meanwhile, there are various releases coming up, to keep you M.O.R.P.H. freaks entertained. For example, "Alex M.O.R.P.H. vs. Ferrin & Low - Chimaera" will be released on Somatic Sense, the follow-up to Alex' & Woody van Eyden's B2B single "Heavenly", called "Turn it on" won't take too long as well. Furthermore, "Life Less Ordinary" will finally see a full release on Be Yourself Music/High Contrast soon, including a quality remix package! NOW panic!
Of course you will also hear some B2B Remixes in the next weeks and months (for DT8, Duderstadt or Woody van Eyden Feat. Jimmy H. ...).

So, you see that he is busy with the album and more, and he won't let you down.
Please give him a bit more time and expect a brandnew, worthy and outstanding Alex M.O.R.P.H. solo album in 2007.

Thank you very much for the heavy support and great feedback over the years!

Thank you so much for that update Tea-mo! It's a shame it never got a release. I heard rumours why it didn't get released, no idea if they'ret true or not. Anyway I can't wait to see what Alex will provide for the new album! Is there any official date yet?

I was browsing back a few pages here and I noticed there was no official tracklist posted, of the original album that was supposed to be released that is.
I have back cover on my computer with the full tracklist. It looks rather official. But I guess this tracklist wan't supposed to be public, was it?

A final tracklist has never been published :-)

Posted by KrissO on Feb-22-2007 22:46:

Ok. Then I guess I'll let it stay that way. It's all about the new one anyway

Posted by Vandict on Feb-23-2007 16:18:

i hope Alex's collaboration with Misja Helsloot - L-One gets a full release with Misja's Dying Robo Mix on it, quality tune

Anyone know any info on this?
