Yah I did but those were renderings and not ingame footage as far as I know. I wasnt really comparing PC to console graphics though, I was comparing the technology difference between the ps2/xbox with the xbox 360 and the very little we know about the ps3. Hopefully after E3 my views of the difference in the generation jump will become more apparent.

yup that wasn't in game footage. But Sony has one powerful muther in their hands in the PS3. Also a costly bastard at that. I heard it's going to go for $500

Also, have a look at the real time demo of The Getaway @ E3 last year for PS3.

Yes it was in-game footage. Kojima ALWAYS uses the in-game graphics engine for the MGS cutscenes.

It's just nicer graphics which I dont really care about. Now if the new Nintendo console really offers a great new way of playing video games then that will bring on the golden age of gaming. If it sucks then we'll be stuck with the same gaming just nicer graphics.

I agree. I have a pretty buffed up PC which handles anything the xbox360 can do and probably what the PS3 will be able to do. Nintendo's Wii/Revolution seems like it is trying to bring many new things to the table and if I do decide to buy a new console it will probably be the Wii .
