With prices like these, safe to say guys like Tiesto, Armin, PVD will be coming 'round often!

WTH? I bought my tix for $30 a few weeks ago. jeebus $100 for a ticket! anyone want to buy mine? $99+no convience fees.

Paying $100 to see AvB in a "club" that is a restaurant up until 9:00 pm is I wonder if they will be bringing in extra JBL speakers....

Posted by vxman on Jun-27-2006 14:40:

$40 will get you

Holy freakin God! $100 for Armin in the OC? What kind of venue is it again? I was gonna venture to the OC to show my support, but now I'll just wait until Saturday at Circus! At least I already got my tickets for that!

ROFL dude last night they had a typo or glitch of some sort that had the price at $1000! then about an hour later it went back to $100.

I do not see why people waited to the last possible minute to get tickets Now that you waited all you can do is Bitch???

I had no idea they where going to go up too $100 though... ouchie

Smiley DJ

what is the big fuss!

this is armin van buuren in a 500 capacity venue!!!!!!

we pay $60 to go to a 3000+ capacity venue to see armin but not a $100 for a much smaller venue!!!!!!!!!!

in addition if people planned for this show early they would have tickets for as low as $30

i would personally pay $100 to see armin if i knew the room would not be oversold

the venue has a limited no of tickets for the main room

there is a second room with the same visuals and sound for $40

my bet is that this show will be historic

For those of you that don't have tix, you might want to get a Table. its a 3 bottle minimum, last time i went there were many bottles for $300, some for $275. I think Grey Goose was $350 or so. If you get 3 $300 bottles, and tip it would be around $130 a person. That includes admission for 8 people and a table. Not bad considering it's now $30 more for vip. Not sure if ten has uped the minimum for the night considering it is a special event.

It may not be a bad deal at all if they have tables/booths left, but do realize that there is tax and gratuity and you also have to pay for tix so it will add up to more than you think.

yeah this venue is very very expensive when it comes to bottle service. and the booths are in the 2nd room anyways, not sure what the setup is in the main room, if there are any tables but im sure whatever room they have will be for vip.

hey herb u coming out to this?

Cabana's are the ultra VIP option in the Main room, but have been sold out for weeks.

There are several tables in the main room, with brand new, very cool couches, but have also been sold out for WEEKS!!!

ALL VIP, CABANA AND TABLE PATRONS MUST PURCHASE TICKETS IN ADDITION TO BOTTLE MINIMUMS

Everyone, this is ARMIN IN OC for the first time!!! Historic is an understatement.

I think the venue should put speakers on the roof facing the street so those that couldn't get in can have a street party. Just like Space Miami did for Dish at '05 WMC to prevent a riot.

Oh, and uh, did anyone notice Spundae has stopped their online ticket sales for Armin on Saturday????? Can anyone say......SOLD OUT......????!!! $100 sounding more like a bargain now?!

Cheers,

MW

FYI- Spundae will never sale all the tickets on-line.. There will be some at the door!

Cheers,

FYI- Spundae never sales all the tickets online... there will be a very limited amount at the door! So those who did not get tickets for the Saturday show should get there real early!

Holy shit..$100 for Newport!

Posted by slkvin on Jun-28-2006 08:43:

Well i just paid $104.95 for this show! I am just a little F**King pissed to say the least! This show was $50 a few days ago!!!! Looks like im getting drunk in the parking lot!!! HAHA

I hope Armin plays the same kick ass set I saw last month in London! Not a candied up set for the OC carebear trance neophytes that will undoubtably show up because, "my friend said this guy is some famous DJ from europe."

Would a really nice pair of White Puma's pass dress code for the venue? Any TA from SD meeting up before the show or carpooling up there?

awsome, sure will. gonna be crazy i tell u. People as far as the shoe thing goes, trust me its worth it to dress up at this place. why? cause there will be to many hot women for most of you TAs to handle. Its called P.O.!

Posted by DaveT on Jun-28-2006 16:49:

Armin playing in the OC is historic? Give me a frickin break. He plays in LA a bunch. He plays in SD a bunch these days. OC is right in between.

OMFGICFBTHISPITOC!! Whatava.

I don't see what the big jolly deal is. Look at the ticket prices at this point. FOR A FUCKING THURSDAY. There's obviously a bigger agenda than just having the #3 DJ in the world play in the OC. The organizers have something on their mind. I know it's business in the end, but there are points where it just gets stupid. And $100 for Armin for a couple hours on a Thursday night in a little club with extra sound being brought in (which basically tells you that it's not going to be tuned very well) is plain stupid.

$100 for a ticket hurts the scene. The little guys who actually care more about the DJ, the music, the scene and did not buy their ticket in time most likely cannot afford $100. Only the fake people who don't give a rats ass about the music or scene but just want to be "seen" will easily fork up $100. Or people who are just obsessed with Armin, who are almost just as bad.

Ugh, this type of shit irritates me.

+1

me and my friends are mostly ok paying 40-50 but 100 is just outrageous and stupid. hopefully it will be good.

Posted by slkvin on Jun-28-2006 17:15:

I couldnt agree more with Dave. $100 bucks for a show really only hurts the real Armin fans! Myself included because I acutually paid it!!!

Lets face it this club is going to be filled with about 400 fake ass people who are just showing up because money isnt an issue and they have nothing else to do on a thursday night! Or because they heard from a friend of a friend that this DJ is famous! Its not about the music or contributing support to the scene or even liking Armin. Other then the TA's and other random trance fans, I got the feeling this club is going to be filled with the "beautiful people" of OC who are more worried about looking good and saying they were there that night, then having a great trance experience!

Either way im going to be drunk and having a blast with neinerlove and sweetcandygirl so those rich OC chicks in Gucci and Prada can kiss my ass!!!

This is KawiZX636, btw for those that know me, I was finally able to remember the password for my old account so im using my original one LOL. Ive met you Gehzumt @ the On Broadway show, I was the guy hanging out with Kris all night.

C U There

Posted by HALO555 on Jun-28-2006 17:39:

Dave T makes a lot of sense here as he usually does. I doubt that there will be that many fake people there, at least I hope not. Of course it's supply and demand, but I wonder who's driving up the prices ? Giant ? or the lounge ?

But just becasue somebody is financially comfortable doesn't necessariy make them fake, not interested or notknowledgeable in the scene.
