but when they really want something, they'll know.

sorry, but this isn't TRUE love. cause if it were, she would rather be with you instead of anyone else

No, it's not an issue of trust, it's an issue of respect.

You two broke up? I am sorry to hear that man. But you actually could do a lot better. So don't worry, next gf don't settle for a girl without looks, ok?

This man speaks word of truth, I, I'm astounded.
From the heart.

the whole thing about going to vegas...eh...he's right. that kinda shit happens, but who cares? what i don't know won't hurt me...but only harmless shit like that (like just dancing and flirty talk). would i be upset if i knew? yea. did he cheat on me? no. as long as i know my man knows where to draw the line...meaning, if at some point that silly hoe dancing in front of him is like, "hey u wanna go back to my room?" (or something inappropriate like that) if he's like, "no thanks, i have a girlfriend" it's all good, and like i said, what i don't know is actually better for me.

even though i'm all about my man (as you all obviously know ) i am guilty of being out at a club and drunk and having drunk flirty talk with some random guy who came up to me. or just like dancing (not grinding though, i dont dance like that anyway), but at the end of the night, i dont do anything horrible. i have fun...and that's it. that's pretty much what i expect happens when my bf goes out with his single buddy. i'm sure lots of chicks approach them or whatever and i don't expect him to be a dick. i'm sure he's friendly or whatever, but i know he represents when the situation calls for it...and so do i. and that's all i ask for

now if some hoe is grinding on my man right in front of me... oh HELL no!

wrong its trust... it only a respect issue if you have told her hey i dont like it when you go out and grind on a guy and then she still does it.... then it becomes a respect issue.

No if that happened, it would BECOME a trust issue, as then you wouldn't trust her if you told her not to do something and then she did it anyway.

Plonker.

Choose what your saying, because if you say its both then you contradict what you JUST said.

I on the other hand, shall stick by what I said.

im really big on respect too, and i think a lot of times my issue with respect gets confused with "insecure jealousy". i'm confident and i trust my man, but if some hoe is gonna be trying to get his attention right under my nose, i'm sorry, but i'm pissed because she's not respecting me, not because i'm scared my bf is going to look at her and want her. my mentality is like, "look bitch, there are tons of single men in here, get the fuck off my man, kthanksbye"

haha

but i stand by what i said about when u go out without ur man/woman. nothing wrong with having fun as long as things dont go too far and as long as whomever your man/woman is "having fun" with knows that at the end of the night, they're not scoring, and knows that your man/woman is happily taken.

even if i meet some guy who buys me a drink and chats me up and we have a nice convo and dance a little, i'm usually talking about my boyfriend the whole time. hahah so they always get the point. they usually stick around long enough to finish a drink, and then bail

You say it is respect.
Also, I don't need the different words defining.
The fact you've totally forgot what you said proves to me that you have no idea how you feel about this, and are just posting posts.

how is she a slut shes not sleeping with anyone she is happy with her man. Free drink Hooochie maybe but no slut.

Posted by Slylee on May-25-2006 22:31:

by the way, in all honesty, i incorporated the "buys me a drink" because i don't really think there's anything THAT bad about that and i was just trying to make a point...but i don't let guys buy me drinks. single or not.

oh and i'm not saying that i wouldn't be upset if i knew my bf was dancing and having a nice, fun convo with some other female without me there...i would totally be pissed, but i think i know it's my issue and it's kinda silly to get mad over that, so that's why i say i'd rather not know.

ok lets make it simple.. it can be seen both ways depending on which way you look at it. I personaly do not see it as a trust issue at all. If she goes out and grinds comes home to me no skin off my back. If she grinds and im like hell no you better stop and she still does it, then for me its a respect thing. As in she isnt respecting my wishes to stop. Even if she still does it im not going to trust her any less but i will be hurt as she isnt respecting me.

I was only trying to states that it can be seen from both a trust and a respect point of view.

yea i pretty much agree with that. it's a matter of respect when they do something u asked them not to.
