Heard PvD's "For An Angel (E-Werk Club Mix)" back in 1998 on a NetRadio station that played club music.
olny been listning to tracne for a few years now but i would have to say zombie nation got me into it. went to a club to listnen to the house music but fell in love with the hard tracne that was pumping at 5 o'clock in the morning
Thorsten F. - The Day The Sky Rained Fire! amazing trance project from 2000, which can still turn heads and stand its own against any of the new stuff.

hmmmm... I guess it was The Quest - C Sharp when i heard it in a Tiesto set.
Some great tracks here - but Rank 1 airwave was the first one that really did it for me - I can remember the moment exactly!
Silence is still my fave ever and I heard children before I got into trance. Sandstorm was also major - but airwave - mmmmmmmm

Well, I was exposed to house music before trance. So the song that first influenced me into the EDM world, was Daft Punk - Da Funk. Soon after that, I heard some very commercial trance tracks that I enjoyed at the time. KayCee - Escape was probably the track that got me into trance (can't really remember for sure about which trance track I had heard first).
Considering i'm one of the few remaining tiesto fans here; it comes as a self-confession to say:

First proper electronic track I liked was also Orbital - Halcyon and on and on (Hackers soundtrack)
First dancier type track that got me hooked was PvD's remix of 1998

first track i heard and still love it is BT - flamming june
Can't remember exactly what was the track that actually got me into trance but Link - Amenity and Jam & Spoon - Stella were among the first few really trancey tunes i remember grooving to back in 1992. But i guess it might have been some months later released Humate - Love Stimulation (PvD's Love Mix) which truly got me hooked into trance. Who knows but probably one of these tracks it was. Still love all of them too.
