it was more an issue with older analog cell phones..

from what ive read theres virtually no chance whatsoever that todays models could interfere with anything..

if im not mistaken the FAA is looking into ditching the rules re:cell phones on planes

anywhooo...hope youre feeling better maaaaaagret

that is a myth.

the places where you really can't use your phone, there is no signal.

Ahhh...well glad that you know what's going on then! I figured you wouldn't do something that would be unsafe to others

Thanks for letting me know too!

New cell phones can cuase interference with a lot of our electronics.

Try leaving your cell phone near your TV or monitor when it rings. Your screen will go all screwy, and then go back to normal.

They also cause problems with normal radio. I have even had the cell phone interference show up in a tape recording i was converting to mp3.

Always happens to me, and it makes a crazy sound too. I can always tell when my phone is ringing in my purse when I'm at work b/c the computer starts freaking out.

On another note, a study done recently shows that Motorola cellphones put out the highest SAR levels, or Specific Absorption Rate, which measures how much radiofrequency energy is absorbed by the human body. Therefore, you MIGHT get cancer faster or something. Dan, your phone is #1 buddy, look out!
