One set, 2 DJs mixing in with each other.

Sasha and Digweed are probably the best known DJs in the world to do these back to back sets very very well.

I knew that, but i want technical details, like, the 2 cdjs and maven are connected to the same mixer? or the 2 of them have different mixes and all go to a master control? stuff like that

usually the same setup, one mixer, cdjs and tables, but it's not set in stone what the technical setup is. When I saw sasha and digweed together last, it was long before the albeton, so it was just sasha and digweed taking approximately half hour turns mixing in with each other. That being said, their setup has probably changed a bit to include sasha's use of albeton.

Really it's not the technical tricks that make these sets worth seeing, it's the fact that two legends, with different styles bring their own visions of dance music to each of their sets together. Sasha brings the melody, and digweed brings the grime.....It's an amazing set with two DJs with near endless record collections. That and the fact they're good friends, so even if the crowd is shit, they'll still be having a good time and it'll reflect in the music.

This will be off the radar. Mates farewell party will coincide with this so should be massive. Will send him off to Melb in style!!

i really do hope future will do it oldskool style and let sasha & diggers play until finish! (yeah right, this is like saying i will have children of my own before i turn 30 )


well actually the more oldskool way is diggers will mix for the last hour because sasha will be too smashed to mix by then!

Moving to Melbourne at the end of next month and I cannot wait for this.

Would they be playing at a venue like vodafone arena, or something more like room680 or metro?

The rumour is the refurbished QBH. Room would be miles too small . I really hope it's not metro. Vodaphone would be ok.

With QBH now being half the size that it used to be, it will be a real shame if it's there imo.

I was hoping for a Melbourne Park Stadium show (out on the practice courts with a massive amount of production would be very special).

I've not seen it no. But from what i understand it's being turning into two separate venues, so capacity is going to be much smaller.

I agree...Melb Park all done up would be great.
CBF with any small venue!

QBH was chockers enough as it was for Diggers last year....it's going to be extra MAYHEM with the 2 of them together....
