U go girlfriend

Yeah but 40 quid is a lot of money, we r used to paying 12 quid to get into gatecrasher, hehe

Posted by sykadelik on Apr-16-2002 16:26:

I'd pay it, i paid the same for a worse lineup at homelands last year. Now that was a waste of many, the event has become totally progressive house oriented.

SSS Updates.

Gatecrasher Main Arena

Talla 2XLC
Lucien Foort

I still have a feeling theres got to be another Trance Arena there, like the Inside Out Arena last year, it had some Hard House Djs thrown in, but it mostly had trance, theres got to be a place, for the Flemmings, Ornadels, and Kellys at the SSS.

50 aint that much for a fun packed long day/short weekend of raving really, its the other cost that make it iexpensive! Its gonna cost me over 50 for a train, but I guess i could fly for cheaper!

"MAURO PICOTTO WILL BE SHOWCASING HIS NEW LIVE ACT AT THE SUMMER SOUND SYSTEM, MAURO SAYS; LAST YEAR THE SUMMER SOUND SYSTEM WAS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE FESTIVALS, THE ATMOSPHERE WAS ELECTRIC, HOWEVER, IM EVEN MORE EXCITED FOR THIS YEARS EVENT. PLAYING THE MAIN ARENA IS ALWAYS AN HONOUR BUT WERE EXCLUSIVELY SHOWCASING OUR NEW LIVE ACT WHICH IS THE BRAINCHILD OF MY GENIUS ENGINEER / PRODUCER RICKY EFFE. WERE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS CONCEPT.

there isn't a smilie in existance that looks happy enough to portray my mood.. so this one will have to do

Posted by Ste on Apr-18-2002 17:57:

hows about?

hehehe

Posted by Kinuvan on Apr-18-2002 18:26:

Do arenas pack out at the SSS like they did at the NEC cos I can't miss Picotto's show thing but I will prolly be moving about going to see other people like Signum or just chilling out. Just don't wanna get caught outside when the fun's inside.

Posted by flystyler on Apr-18-2002 19:16:

I thought the NEC was ok, i managed at the peek time to get out and in pritty quickly, so i don think that is a major problem. But i am looking forward to it, just got to get the tickets and stuff

Posted by Dj O'Callaghan on Apr-18-2002 22:20:

Kinuvan The arenas get packed out occasionally not really really badly, when Oakenfold plays the arena will be packet, but usually when the Headliners are on the other Headliners are on, so say Picotto is playing or Paul Van Dyk, someone like Carl Cox or Sasha will be on to and loads of people end up switching arenas so usually its not overpacked but be warned its quite chaotic when Oakenfold plays.

just don't decide u need a piss halfway through a big set! if you're at the front of the main arena when it's full, it will take half an hour to get out, then half an hour to get back in again

Posted by tu_face on Apr-19-2002 13:20:

and thats not quing.. thats walking thru the arena!

when its full it really does take that long to get to the back.. the arena's are HOOOOOOOOOOOOJ!

i think it only got closed off during PvD last year.. and then it was for only an hour...

i cant see being locked out a problem anyway... its not as if theres no-where else to go

oh yeah, lots of credit is very very handy at these events too.. so when u lose everyone, they can be found again

Not a problem, i am on genie

But i sent so many txts at the nec, it is best if we all have an area, like at the nec, then it is easier to find peeps

Posted by sykadelik on Apr-24-2002 09:35:

I think i will be wondering between arenas, will need to scarper once oki comes on.

Posted by Dj O'Callaghan on Apr-25-2002 00:25:

Yeah when Oakie plays at a big event with loads of people, its an exprience I think that can be compared to a riot, especially if your towards the front and the middle of the arena people, just barge through, people get upset at getting crushed, and people foaming at the mouth shouting 'OAKIE' 'OAKIE'. last year stayed for about 5 or 6 of the tunes Oakenfold played, and left and caught the last half John '00' Flemmings set.

Question: Is everyone just going to do the SSS, or incorporate it into one giant session?
