Only ecause Tiesto has all these things he has to bring in for his show such as LCD's and stage set up stuff.

lol tell me hes bringing the flying saucer dj booth

Posted by LiquidX on Aug-08-2006 21:10:

150 for tiesto wtf?!?! Well, at least they got assured that they'll have a hell of a turn-out for Tiesto alone. My whole circle of friends are going for some of the Spanish rock acts, Kinky, AMigos invisible, yerba buena.. and the bonus of the electronic acts which they like. It'll be a good turn-out I think.

Posted by hiram on Aug-08-2006 21:51:

tiesto makes more in 2 hours than most of our parents put together make in a year

Posted by av1 on Aug-08-2006 21:51:

If they are throwing money around like that (150K 4 Tiesto) I suspect ticket prices are going to be going up, up and away.

Posted by hiram on Aug-08-2006 21:54:

and i hope they bring back everyone from the middle tent last year.. that shit was rocking all night. swedish house mafia tag team set completely owned me, benny benassi and robbie riviera

Anyway, carry on.

Time to bring this back on topic....

4 Strings is defintely the act I'm looking forward to seeing the most. Their 360 degree change has left a lot of people changing their minds about them. I think the said could be said about ATB. His set at Nature One was amazing. I hope he gets booked for this festival, as well.

Posted by bdr222 on Aug-08-2006 23:36:

yeah ATB was great last year tho he got pissed at the technicians for not testing if the record players worked

Posted by SPACEMASTERS on Aug-08-2006 23:37:

Only reason to go for me would be Markus & Edgar and thats it.

Back in the day he played some good sets but there was one teeny tiny problem.

He liked being an MC too, so he used to run his mouth off on the microphone during his sets.

He doesn't do that anymore, which is good.

And I better watch what I say, becuz Andres (ATB) happens to be a TA too, soooo....

Okay that comment is insane. Markus and Edgar are both great, but Bang has a lot more to offer than just those 2 DJs, so they should not be the "only" reason.

Have you ever seen Tiesto play, much less @ a festival? I know some people love to hate him. But try it and you'll see a complete performace by a DJ that blows all others away. Remember he did not even play @ Global or Ultra this year, no matter how much $ they threw at him to do so. And Mansion could not hold the people that wanted to see just him. To me Tiesto @ Bang is a must attend event for anyone who likes trance. I just hope that they do not put on Daft Punk at the same time on another stage.

I agree:

4 strings @ Bang was a good booking, and ATB @ Bang would be a good booking as well. But Ferry Corsten and/or Sander Van Doorn @ Bang would be f'ing priceless.

Yea but regardless if I go which I wont its for those too. I might catch Tiesto, but I wasnt amazed at mansion his first night and the second night I wasnt there. But as for the rest G.A goes he could wait, and I could careless about the rest of the people.

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Aug-09-2006 00:59:

Chris Lawrence is one of U.S's top dj's. I think he even won that award this past EDMA's.

Chris L, 4 strings.. Daft Punk.. TIESTO EDGAR MARKUS!!

crazy enough line up as is. If i can I would love to catch Duran Duran

Posted by LiquidX on Aug-09-2006 01:24:

Christopher Lawrence is so UNDERATED its not even funny man. He throws one of the nicest trance sets when it comes to Trance music. He was one of the few American trance DJ's to ever cross the Atlantic and be a resident over there ( Godskitchen, Gatecrasher etc etc ).. what other American trance DJ has been able to do that?? leaving Markus out of course..

Seriously.. that guy is a total pro. He's def a top 10 in my eyes.

I already see the complications I'll have just trying to catch some of the acts.

Posted by Coastie on Aug-09-2006 01:50:

Im going for Tiesto, markus, and my current fav house dj
Roger Sancez FTW
btw house tent fucking owned ultra, that and coxy
so Swdish House Mafia also, wouldnt mind seeing Ingrosso/Angello
