back to Temple talk

Big East should add Hofstra in its football program. A very exciting team as always sorta the Marshall of D-2 and the east coast. Lots of profesional NFL guys from Hofstra...sounds good to me.

I'm predicting Temple will score at least one FG vs Minnesota this week

Da U? Or Da O? Meaning Da overrated. Miami is living on past glory. Sorry Eddie, Louisville kicked the snot out of them, really dominated. (Don't worry I don't like any of the Florida schools).

Hey.... how about those Oregon Ducks baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a comeback. I can't believe I missed the end. I had tickets the Yankees vs. Red Sux game last night and left the house with the Ducks losing 20-30 with 5 minutes left and Oklahoma with the ball. Pissed that I missed it but at least I saw the highlights. Go Ducks! West coast baby. USC representing too.

Notre Dame getting shellacked is kind of funny. They really looked overrated against Georgia Tech and it showed again yesterday.

this weekend of college football was the good, the bad, and the ugly. the good is the oregon quackers. grats on their win, and the sooners choking at the final 4 minutes of the game. that onside kick at the end was pretty controversial to me. the bad was da U ( ) . i expected more from them, especially with Brohm out the second half of the game. The ugly was the Irish. just plain ugly play from Quinn. Forget the Hesiman after that performance. If he's still in the ballot, voters will remember this game.

Mr. Westcoast bias

cool comeback win though for the Mighty Ducks, whats up with you guys changing uniforms for every game?I sort of like the unis though. The gay/metro fasion expert inside of me approves of them,it says hiiiiiii

the only good thing out of Miami's loss is that Coker whos been leading the sinking ship that is our program is maybe one more loss from getting fired.Although with this horrible loss Im sure he s feeling the heat like never before already.

o yeah and Louisville lost their star RB and now their QB, so I dont see them contending for the title

well the pac 10 is looking better than the ACC right now

besides, I think the ACC is nothing more than a mediocre conference at best

Listen up Snapper head. Oregon ranked 12th & 13th. USC 2nd and 3rd. Oregon was a top 8 program last year by the way. The thing you got to realize is that Eugene, Oregon is merely a population of 125,000 so building a great program like it is makes me very proud. That's all. They'll slipup sometime the team isn't that special, I'm not looking for national championships. Top 15 though is nothing to laugh at.

Da U is currently in the "others receiving votes." I don't think I need to argue anything further about Miami being overrated going into the season.

Some people say the Fighting Ducks uni's are grotesque but Nike petitioned the players to help design them. So it's something they thinks actually helps a little with recruiting. I like them, they're weird and get people talking about the program.

By the way, I'm not just a fan of Oregon, I'm alumni. That counts for more.

I always thought they were the Ducks, not Fighting Ducks... Great win by the way, I'm not into NCAA football that much, but IMO the Pac-10 is really loaded this year.

However the SEC is just too tough to handle in my opinion, the amount of talent in that conference is just ridiculous.

About the Big East, West Virginia is a great team, no doubt about it, but there are still doubts concerning Louisville, yes they won vs. Miami but Miami pretty much sucks this year, in any case whether WV or Louisville stay undefeated, it's gonna be really tough for them to be considered for a national championship berth by looking at their schedule.

Regarding the Big-10, it will be interesting to see how both Michigan and OSU match up against their conference, which to be honest it will be tougher than expected... if they both stay undefeated when they meet, that's gonna be one sick match up.

OU should stfu. shit happens, one game play does not define a game. big 12 football can suck it.

so no love for Notre dames 19 point 4th quarter comeback to beat Michigan St.?

Posted by luisjb82 on Sep-25-2006 03:32:

of course there is... but that whooping Michigan gave ND last weekend is still in our minds. ND pulled an awesome comeback and now I wonder, had they played with that desire against Michigan maybe we could be talking how ND would be undefeated... ahh well such is fate.

Posted by Kapedano on Sep-25-2006 03:34:

I didnt watch the ND - Mich St game, but did ND put thier flag in the middle of Mich St field like Mich St did at ND last year?
