Close. I'm at UofT, with a 16 month internship at RIM.

Waterloo student in math/compsci, but will be off to co-op term doing mathematical programming for Maplesoft. It's my second term with them... essentially, I work with really brainy people to develop new algorithms for solving various types of mathematical problems, like computing Groebner Bases, solving differential equations, algebra, etc. Most of my work consists of implementation... I research/develop various algorithms to perform a given mathematical task, and program them into Maple, adding various features, options, tests, and documentation. Maple is one of the world's leading mathematical software programs, and is used by researchers at universities, as well as professionals in the industry. I really enjoy my work... I get to work with incredibly brilliant people, and I learn tons of crazy math. Best job I've ever had.

Wow.

P.S. Maple rules.

I love being the anomaly here ... I build pools ... big-up, big massive ridiculously expensive swimming pools for Southern Ontario's disgustingly wealthy & the East Coast's even more disgustingly wealthy.

at the moment, i am working as a fashion illustrator. i illustrate the garments that my manager designs and put them on boards and make it all pretty to sell to clients (which are mostly high end hotel chains and resorts). i also do trend research, a bit of designing and some graphic design, depending on what's needed. basically, along with the two other illustrators, i am responsible for all the art that comes out of our company.

Staff accountant for the accounting firm BDO Dunwoody LLP office here in Collingwood.

Working towards attaining my CGA accounting designation through my professional body.

I hate taking courses while working - it's hard motivation!

Life's grand though - I enjoy what I do. Maybe sometime in the next 1 to 2 years I'll look to transfer to a different BDO office in Barrie or Newmarket, or find a diff job in one of those two cities. I really love Barrie.

Both are a good deal closer to all my friends in the city and the GTA, would would make things easier socially on me! Plus I'd command a better salary the closer I moved to Toronto, working in larger cities!

It'll be tough leaving Collingwood eventually. I love this town so much. But eventually I wanna change things up. I did enjoy living in Waterloo for 3 years.

Wow - rant! lol

System ANALyst, maintaining a crippled police Oracle software in the provincial police.

Today I saw 30 pages of SQL programming, and I cried (for real), because so horrible it is, the worst I have been explaining my programmer how to fix it and he is unable to... i don't want to work with a bunch of incompetent loosers anymore.

I hate this job more than the Lebanese hate Israelis and vice-versa.

Today I just started looking for a job, anyone good enough in french to translate my CV in english? ($$)

Weekends: clubbing photographer, if I had just a bit more buisness I might just quit my day job and concentrate on this.
