I like his remixes, but 'Lift' however is a different story. Never have I been so addicted to a tune like that since I first got into Trance.

Sean Tyas is a good producer but his stuff of late has been structurally similiar and is starting to wear a little thin. He should consider adding some different elements and/or experimenting with some crossover stuff.
He's in the limelight this year and has become somewhat of an ASOT phenomena. Usually, that doesen't last very long. Let's see how long he lasts.

Music is subjective.

He is a TA, but he doesnt post as much anymore since he moved from PA to Europe. His brother is a TA as well and is an active poster (Ryan). He is an up and coming DJ and producer. He has made ALOT of remixes over the past year or so. He also spins sets on a radio show.
Very nice guy

Do I have to explain why this is stupid?

Alright. Motorcycle is a colaboration between Dave Dresden, Josh Gabriel and Jes Brieden on vocals. So if your calling these guys flavor of the month then you have to decide which month.

Motorcycle only ever had 1 track released. Which was shit. What do the individual projects have to do with anything? And what does that have to do with this thread anyway? I thought it was about Tyas...

OMG. As if the producing talent is contained within the name Motorcycle. Gabriel and Dresden have been producing successful tracks for years so you can't consider one of there alias' a flavor of the month just because they don't produce under it anymore. LOL!

But the alias was a flavour of the month, wasn't that the point?

I still don't see what this has to do with Sean Tyas.

It's just trance, nothing new there. Lousy vocal too.

Read the comment i quoted!!

just had a listen to some of Tyas's stuff, and there's no doubt about it, I'd have peaked hard to his remix of punk'd back in the day, but it's just one big tired cliche now

I did. So you weren't trying to imply that that sample indicated a Sean Tyas production experimenting with some crossover stuff? My bad then.

Alright, if you want to completely ignore what was behind the Motorcycle collaboration, fine. They were the flavor of the month.

It has nothing to do with Sean Tyas. I'm not sure why they were mentioned.

In your opinion, yes.

are you dumb? of course in my opinion. what else have I said? Or do I need to end every fucking sentence with "IMO" for you to understand?

Rebel9, please explain us why are you writing in this thread if you don't like Sean Tyas' music? Why are you wasting your time? Wouldn't be even better for you to open a Digital Blonde thread and write there how much you like their stuff (or whatever you listen). Cause if you don't like this music, why to hell writing here? Don't you have anything better to do? We also don't write in a Digital Blonde thread "DB sucks, they are not talented producers". It would be OK, if you would just write "i don't like Sean Tyas music, it's not my taste"...finish! But insulting some members/producers here for no reason, or just because they don't have the same taste for music... you have a problem

I mentioned it to prove a point. Just because everyone thought the Motorcyle collaboration was a success with ATRC, doesn't mean everything they or the individual artists within the collaboration produce afterwards is gold. So don't think that because Sean Tyas made a good remix of a not-so-recent track that he'll keep producing hit after hit for years to come. I don't know about you, but I liked Gabriel & Dresden work much better before ATRC than I do now...

oh wait I thought a discussion forum was for people to express their comments no matter if positive or negative. I must have been wrong. And where did I insult him? I was actually nice enough since I was the only one of all you sheeps to review one of his tunes. Not only did I write (IT SUCKS or IT OWNS) I actually wrote what was not good with the tune. And if Sean is such a talented and experienced producer as you make him I'm sure he have nothing against some critique.

That his tunes lack the energy to be banging is a fucking joke statement (imo) , his tracks are the most powerful today
