depends on how long i'm drinking...cause i drank 10 one night in a short period of time (lik 3 hours?) and i was pretty drunk,

but if i'm drinking for hours and hours i could probably go for 18? i duno i havn't counted before, but whenever i'm out with the misses i have about 4 (dinner/pool) and thats an average day kinda thing. i should test myself.

Posted by Endlesswave on Aug-18-2006 01:49:

Haven't really counted, getting a good buzz would have me at 6 or 7, getting me trashed depends, haven't counted...

Posted by alocin on Aug-22-2006 15:47:

Hmmm...well, I polished off 36 beers this weekend if that's any indication...

But on an average night out probably 10 to 15 do me nicely...umm...I think that means I have a problem....

Or I just replace my weekday water rations with beer ...

I don't really enjoy the feeling of being drunk. I prefer a medium buzz.

On a drinking night, I usually start drinking at dinner time. From dinner time to the end of the night, I usually down about 6-8 beers.

Totally depends on the day/night.

Sittin around watching the game, I do this thing called "faster than baseball", one beer an inning. Not too bad, most games last about 2 hours, 9 beers in two hours feels pretty good. Unless Halliday is up against Santana or something, and I try to throw 9 back in an hour and a half!

Going out to the game is another story, expensive as hell pints. Usually looking at 3 or 4 of those.

Out with the boys, somewhere in the area of 5 pints.

House party is generally 8-12.

Clubbing I stay away from the beer, I would be on my ass or asleep by midnight if I tried that shit!

Jamie .... I found some Kicks the other day at an LCBO downtown, 5.50 for a 4 pack!! They were a little skunky, but damn it was nice to see them again. There were still a few packs left on the shelf, I'm gonna head over and see if there are some more there still. I love that shit.

I can imagine! Of the 8 I bought, I had 6 of them, and that was enough to get me bouncing.

I'll swing by today and see what I can see.

I drink like 3-8 slowly depending on my mood. Once beer drinking stars, it is usually a problem to stop drinking it and now that I have shifted to beer following this summer - I'm really beginning to prefer it over hard alcohol...I get hungover too quickly...but beer's chill

What you described should be renamed 'an exercise into the destruction of your liver'.

Actually you both are right. There are different variations of how the game is played. Read further down on the wikipedia link.

If I was playing the game, i'd go with the ounce per minute for 100 minutes. 100 beers in less then 72 hours is a good way to damange yourself.

Don't get trashed that often anymore, so usually all it takes is 3-4 beers pounded within 1-1.5 hours for me to get my buzz going. I coast on that for pretty much most of the night. I'd rather drink 3-4 screwdrivers then beer though.

I've lived in my house for 5 years now and I have bought a total of two cases of beer. When I go out I normally have one drink at the beginning of the night and then water the rest of the night

reallity is....if you drink more then one beer every two hours you are damaging your liver. It blows my mind how many people are alcoholics and don't realize it.

8 shots of vodka!

It's funny to hear that coming from you.

So true.

More than 3 or 4 beers in a night truly IS considered "binge drinking"

Straight from my doctor. 2 a night would be better still than even 3 or 4.

Though massive consumption of alcohol a regular or even semi-regular basis would deem one an 'alcoholic', a distinction should be noted between those alcoholics that are (1) incapable of living w/o drinking constantly, ie. crave their next alcohol fix ie. have addicted themselves to alcohol or those that drink to the point that it destroys their lives or the lives of those around them / close to them, and (2) those that merely consume too much to be healthy, but dont have a dependence on it nor let it destroy their lives (ie. most all students).

Beer doesn't give you the shakes... but I know of another drug that does....

I have to say that ... If I drink american / canadian piss then i can drink a lot. But when i drink stronger beer, Polish for example, then after like 5 bottles i am rolling.
See, american / canadian beer is like .. drinking stronger european bear, and then peeing it out, which is beer here.
That's how they make it. Hire some Polaks and Germans, oh man.

Posted by Cosmic Fur on Aug-24-2006 03:39:

Haha. I like you.

(but not in that way)

(Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

I saw the irony in my statement as I was typing it......however....alcohol is not a chemical
