So I was pretty bored, and also interested to see who are some of the favorites after about 5 pages of responses. here is what I tallied (might be some slight miscounts, but I think its pretty accurate)

The #1 favorite, by far...
Trentemoller (6 favorites)

The #2 favorite...
Sander Van Doorn (4 favorites)

Then there are a number with 3 favorites...
M.I.K.E.
Shiloh
Jonas Steur
Derek Howell
The MFA
16 Bit Lolitas
Garbiel & Dresden
Perry ONeil
Silicon Soul
Gabriel Ananda
Lostep
Luke Chable

There are a large number of repeats (2 favorites) and of course loads and loads of singles. Kinda interesting to se, although not entirely unexpected.

I think the consensus is that Trentemoller is a rly good producer

no there is nothing wrong with that...just seems like some people will have some very hi-quality producers...and then some really low-quality producers. at least imo...just a little surprising.

that's because catchiness & complexity can both produce "good" tracks, but catchiness is very subjective, so, while the ones based on proficiency are all within a fairly consistent range, the ones based on foot-tapping potential are all over the map.
