player update on this years version of Joe Tafoya in our TA fantasy league and our fave player which this year is from the Tampa Bay Bucs , Defensive Back, Blue Adams!

he finished his 1st game with 2 tackles, and btw still owned in Incredible Hulks fantasy team

...that was your Blue Adams update for this week!

as for our main man Joe Tafoya
he stat line for week 1 - did not play-

we missed you Joe Tafoya!

Man after watching some of the games in week 1, it's really hard to say who's going to be in the SuperBowl. I didn't get to catch the Seattle game, but I know they won off of field goals. The Pats loosing Branch will really hurt them later in the season. The Bears looked really good in week 1. I can see them having a good chance. The high powered Bengals and Colts played as I expected them to, but I'm still not sure about the Colts since they will have to rely on their passing game more this year. I'm so excited about this season, it should be a really good one.

one thing i've learned is not to draw too many conclusions from week 1.

Indeed. Actually, that game was horrible. The way the Eagles "tried" to close the game, the officiating (like that 1st down pass from Eli to Toomer with about 40 seconds left in the 4th, Eli goes to spike the ball, and then the refs come out and want to "replay" Toomer's catch. They make the call, and "replay" the down. If i am not mistaken, you cannot "Replay" a down after an instant replay. if the play is done, it's done. The whole scenario would be different right now, if Cole didn't rough up on that OL. geez! what a bonehead! if Feely missed that kick, Coughlin would point to that catch by Toomer and the officials for screwing him over.)

Anyways, back to this week. Wow. what a weird week. Vikings over a very mysterious Panthers team, who is now 0-2 (preseason favs for Super Bowl btw). Jets hanging on, falling short to the Pats. Pats just do not look like the old Pats right now. Something needs to be done with them. Eagles - Giants game was a shocker. Chiefs had a chance to shutdown the Broncos, but couldn't pull it off (well i don't think it would have been any better with a healthy Green anyways). Saints won! woo hoo! I think politics is going to kick in, and have the Saints make the playoffs, and make a deep run to the championship or Super Bowl. Just for the media ads and everything with Bush, the stupid fiasco last year, and such.

The Lions and the Cardinals. . Wait until the next 4 games, when they play the Giants, the Bears, Rams(who look like the old rams right now. beat the good guys, sleep on the dead. and anyways, Rams own the Hawks), and the Vikings(who are a respectable 2-0 right now). Then we will see if Seattle is "for real" right now. I am not sold that this team is up to par/better than last year's team.

Posted by LeopoldStotch on Sep-18-2006 03:15:

woo hoo for New Orleans! we are kinda stepping on the right direction at the moment (a lot better than last year i say). Tampa sucks and Miami is disappointing me. wtf! get your act together, and start making some running plays for Ronnie Brown for god's sake! Congrats to Atlanta, and they look like a very hard team to beat, because if you try to stop Dunn, they have Vick running like crazy right now. Hope to see a renwed Falcons-Saints reheated rivalry. Dallas handing Kap-Damn's Skins their asses right now.

enough said.

yeah wont even see the Dolphins highlights...

anyways the Vince Young era started I guess , he came in a blaze of glory to score a TD vs the chargers in the 4th quarter!....too bad they were already losing by more than 30 to 0

The Cardinals at Seattle missed their Pink Taco back home and never seemed into the game .

Worse QB Aaron Brooks or Chris Simms?

Art Shell expresionless face was out on full force today once again http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page...ns/shell/060915
it took an 'injury' for him to finally take out Brooks and according to Shell probably , put in that backup white guy whoever he is.

Carolina let the game get away from them cause of a dumb play

apperently their was no one who knew cpr in the stadium cause the Eagles choked really bad

a FOOTball match broke out in Denver vs KC

Frank Gore is for real (da U) and so are the Bears

come on Saban....Joey Heisman time BABY!

T.O. broke a finger in the Cowboys win over the Redskins, will miss 4 weeks

Posted by InterMilan31 on Sep-18-2006 20:04:

The Freak Jevon Kearse who was having such a great start to the year is now out for the season. With no good backups the Eagles lose a key to their defense and will be hurting now big time to get some guys to the QB.

With these injuries and Redskins starting 0-2 the Giants and their win yesterday was very key. If they can go to Seattle and win there they will be in good shape. Cowboys & Eagles lose key players and Skins are down 0-2 and look like a .500 team at best this is a time if your a Giants fan to attack. They can smell the blood in the water most likely so if they can take wins these next 4 weeks would be huge for them.

it's always at this point of time when teams with horrible quarterbacks start making rumors that they will sign jeff george, tony banks, rob johnson or etc.....

i guess it is time to start respecting Jacksonville, because they made Pittsburgh into their punching dummies last night. No one stops Pittsburgh's run like Jacksonville. Pittsburgh is a good team i might add, but the Jaguars were the better of the two last night. Props to Jack Del Rio for bringing up this team from dead after Coughlin left.
