Absolutely disgraceful loss.

Hopefully there'll be some new signings to boost the defence and Ashton returning will boost the offence.

Luis Boa Morte to West Ham.

Gives a bit more wing play. Looks to be decent signing.

Still waiting out on a signing of a good striker and a central defender...

Jesus West Ham sucks. I hope they finish last.

I know.

But the form that the rest of the strikers are in, West Ham could use another good striker to partner Ashton.

Though Tevez looks like he's starting to settle into the English game and with his ability and Ashton's finishing, could be deadly.

West Ham to sign Lucas Neill. Apparently his wage will be 60,000 pounds per week.

That's crazy talk.

Ah well. Hopefully he'll do something to stop the leaky West Ham defence

Posted by zoric on Jan-20-2007 18:46:

Seriously? Liverpool has been chasing Lucas Neil for a while now, and if West Ham signs him I'll be laughing at Liverpool, Though they were great today.

Nah, But this is a good signing for West Ham if they've signed him ofcourse.

Hope he lifts the Hammers so they won't be relegated.

Too many stupid signings on the Hammers behalf. They had such a brilliant team spirt last season and done well. I think signing Tevez has actually affected that spirt.

Posted by Yohan on Jan-31-2007 00:27:

It doesn't help that West Ham don't have a veteran leader as captain to settle down the lads during tough times.

No offence to Reo Coker, but he's too young to have the respect of some of the more experienced players.

Posted by Yohan on Feb-24-2007 17:15:

Wow. What an abysmal performance by the Hammers.

Charlton looks like they're on their on their way to make a run, but Hammers look completely lost on defence.

I can see Curbishley also getting the boot pretty soon

Posted by sleepydragon on Feb-24-2007 20:33:

will be gutting for the bloke who bought them if they get relegated, i thought he said he wanted them in the champions league

Posted by sleepydragon on Feb-25-2007 19:44:

west ham look doomed after wigans win today

Posted by Yohan on Mar-17-2007 20:24:

Woot.

A lucky call gives West Ham a win against Blackburn away.

Tevez man of the match. Worked his ass off along with Reo Coker.

First 25 mins or so West Ham played like they had no confidence in their football but later in the game saw that fluid attacking play that got them far last season.

Too bad Tevez is probably going to play for another team next season.

Posted by Dj Smitty20 on Mar-18-2007 21:10:

Well there is no Everton thread so I'll use this to laugh at all the Arsenal fans in here. Ha ha ha...

And that goes for the rest of the London clubs too, especially Chelsea.

Posted by Yohan on Mar-21-2007 14:13:

Ashton out of rest of season.

Well, there goes about any chance of West Ham avoiding relegation.

Posted by Yohan on Apr-07-2007 17:09:

Arse 0 - 1 West Ham

WOOHOO!

Only 2 points behind Charlton!

It'll suck for West Ham to pull out of relegation zone, but only to end up being relegated due to the Tevez/Mascherano transfer thing.

Posted by luisjb82 on Apr-07-2007 18:33:

Hey, I'm sorry to ask, but I don't follow the premiership that much anymore... what happened in the Tevez/Mascherano transfer? are you saying they're getting relegated no matter what at the end of this season?.

I just don't know the story.

the transfer of those players is being investigated west ham could get points deducted.

Posted by Yohan on Apr-14-2007 16:59:

Wow. Sheffield United 3-0 West Ham

This was like the must win for West Ham but they got blown out.

Crazy

Posted by Yohan on Apr-27-2007 14:38:

West ham fined 5.5mil pounds for Tevez/Mascherano transfer thing. No points deduction.

With only 3 points behind in the relegation battle and must win game at Wigan this Sat...
There is still hope!

Not without Tevez though. With him being now illegible for selection until new paperwork regarding the players registration is sorted with his 3rd party owners & the premierleague.

Hope WHU go down tbh. Hate them

Posted by Yohan on Apr-28-2007 16:08:

3-0!

Wow. With 3 games to go.
It's not over yet! Tevez is the man

Watched the highlights on motd last night and tevez looked quality, involved in all three goals.

I hope the hammers stay up, they are a proper premiership team.
