fuck dude.. this is seriously fcked up.

I really liked the guy.Most refreshing personality since the new millenium came along.

I'm sure a lot of people wanted to become a wildlife presenter because of him..

I found him strangely annoying, but he was good at what he did and did it good, so at least is nice that he died doing it

Seriously, he will be missed. While he popularized the over enthusiastic sensationalist approach to nature it got a little annoying. Btw, I always thought he get offed by a snake.

Agreed !! Austin Stevens is a prick and thinks he's the shit .. I found it so hillarious when he "WAS" taunting a cobra and got bit .. He cried like a little bitch !! And said it was over for him , that he was quitting if he made it from the bite,, Well the focker made it and kept on .. Id of "PROBABLY" had a little more respect for him if he did quit after that .. But he continues to make crappy documentaries ... Steve Irwin respected the animals he worked with and dies by an animal that "RARELY" kills anyone.. I know a few people stung by rays and just barely lost some muscle tissue.. And one of the biggest animal handlers in the world dies by a freakish accident like this ?? Thats the worst news ive ever heard (like someone said earlier) since 9/11 R.I.P Steve !! You were the man in my book !!

I was too a big fan. Used to watch him a lot while I was in High School. I've seen him dodge many a deadly strike from Crocs, snakes, hippos and other animals. He will be missed dearly, leaving his wife and two children.

Im a huge herper and yeah i did hold him high in my mind because of all the great publicity he has done for some of my favorate animals that everyone in the world had a high non-tolerance for. In my case .. Snakes.. So yeah i respected him greatly and admired what he has done for wild life conservation.. Greatest guy in the world in my opinion when it came to that
