K. Batteries recharged. Here it goes.
Mark Oliver: After a bit of preparty at Cam's place, we got into KH around 9:30ish. MO spinning. Seemed typical MO house warm up set. Heard "This is Ibiza". Meh. I guess no one can bother to do an edit for Toronto. 5/10
Brad Copeland: 10:30 rolls around and I wanted to check out Luke Fair. Brad Copeland was on until 10:55. Why can't some people be on time? But he sounded ok and got me warmed up for some proper prog house. 6.5/10
Luke Fair: A solid set. Not a big prog house fan, but what he spun was some good stuff. Enjoyed it. 8/10
Hernan Cattaneo: Pretty much left off where Luke Fair ended, but his set got a bit boring in the middle and that time, I was all progged out so off I went somewhere else. 7/10
Armin van Buuren: Tried to show up at the TA meet at KH but it was jam packed. Heard Armin play Helsinki Scorchin and since I never liked that tune much, went off to search for something else. ?/10
Andy C & GQ: And ended up in the Drink. Boy. Glad I made the trip. Some mouthwatering DnB finally woke me up b/c I've been feeling rather shite all day and ppl were wondering if I was ok, which I was, except I didn't smile or didn't move around much but was enjoying the tunes. That MC dude did a good job and owned the room. 9.5/10
JunkieXL: After that came back to KH for a bit and JunkieXL was playing some trancey breaks ish stuff. Sounded ok, but was not in mood for trancey stuff yet.
John Digweed: Came back to Guv to see Diggers at work. What he had going was some pretty good stuff. Stuck around for about 30-45 mins and would have stayed longer except I didn't want to hear anymore prog stuff. Kinda cool to see Hernan staying after his set and grooving to Diggers. One master learning from another master eh. 7.5/10
Atomic Hooligan: Finally figured out the entrance to the Gallery after a bit of searching to hear Atomic Hooligans. Had a bit of expectations , but disappointed. Mixing sounded awful and tracklist seemed out of sync. Mind you, I was tired and had a 30 min catnap during all this but what I heard was... meh. 2.5/10
Ferry Corsten: OMGIDIE!!!! He got the crazy Yohan out of me. I danced my ass off.
He brought his A game and absolutely killed me. Felt like listening to old school Ferry (well, more 2003 and add a bit of LEF and techy tunes). Track selection amazing. Pretty much no filler tunes (well, I guess those tech trance ish tunes could be considered filler but I like tech trance so it's all good for me!) LEF stuff was done tastefully and didn't clog up the overall flow of the set.
I think I did cream my pants when he played Corderoy - Sweetest Dreams (Ferry Corsten remix). The ultimate hands in the air tune. Ever. I look around during the breakdown and pretty much every hands were in the air in serenity bliss. My favourite tune ever.
Trance still has the power to get everyone in that state of bliss when done right.
Then he had to go and play Tenshi my second fav tune ever. I go berserk. If I die right now, I'd die a happy man b/c I heard my fav DJ play 2 of my fav tunes at the same event. Still thinking about that moment puts a big smile on my face and even though I'm leaning more house and techno nowadays, Ferry reaffirms to me why I'm a tranceaddict and why Ferry is my fav DJ. 10/10
The setup was cool and well organized. I thought KH looked fabulous. Though I dunno what was up with those swings from the ceiling. It was packed at times, but less than what I'd thought it would be.
Holy TAs everywhere! So glad to see so many of you out there, esp. those NYTAs who came to Toronto and I had a chance to meet. Thanks to many of you who were still very complimentary towards my set from Nat's party.
Laura and Danielle, sorry if my arm flailing bouncing antics scare the heck out of you two! I'm a hazard like that sometimes.
Cale and Lisa, you two are my fav ppl to tune to Ferry.
Andrea, welcome back!
That Ferry set. Please. If that set got recorded, well, do share!
Overall: 10/10

Well another LOL come and gone. Better than last year IMO, but that's just me. I was really excited to see Armin, but I have to say that his set kind of disappointed me, it was really nothing special. Even though my intentions were to spend time in the KH, I was only there for about an hour. The Tent was the best setup, with the best music, IMO. Digweed played an amazing set in the main room. The lineup at the begning was pretty quick, and I was pretty happy to catch the last 15 minutes of Brad COpeland's set. I've heard him spin a few times, ad each time I hear him, I become a bigger fan, and last night was no exception. Crazy crowdedness, had to grease the bouncer to beat the line and get upstairs to skybar at one point, but at that time, it wasn't too crowded up there, and it was money well spent. All in all, a pretty fun night. To those few TA's that I saw, it was nice meeting you all, and to Sasha, good to see you again, hardcore that at 6:30 you were smiling, going at it, and yelling that you'd be at work in two hours
Personally I think Guv went all out with this event, and they did a great job.

aaaaaand Jamie, 'twas fun shaking that ass with you, and thank you so much for the beads![/edit review]

That was probably around the same time I bumped into you on the skybar.
Im glad to hear Armin & Ferry did very well, no surprise H.C brough it as well. One bad ass Argentianian I must say. Awsome to hear review from people from TO. It beats the hell out of the FLTA shady reviews!!

Terrific night. Started off with some Brad Copeland in the Guv, who I much prefer over Mark Oliver.
Armin came on and did it again.
Junkie XL- Deserved more than an hour
Ferry- I'm not a huge fan of his new cd, but he's still Ferry.
All in all a great night.

ummm.......yeah...... i totaly remembered why i hate Guv all access events just complete chaos, can't dnace anywere without a 1000 people trying to walk by either spilling shit on you or burning you with a smoke....i spent most of the time going back and forth from skybar to the tent as those were the only 2 places that come with a supply of oxygen but since i am a total space cadet i did catch atleast 30min of all the major headliners ....overall my opinion is ...meh .... nothing overly special hightlight was prob seeing everyone
