Rock climbing is so much fun! We never had climbing walls near where I lived before, so when I was younger, I would always go for walks in the forest with some rope, LOL! I would find these wikkid cliffs, and then climb them alllll day!

This summer I got the chance to do some proper climbing. It was awesome.

My main hobby used to be racing...until I sold my car

I'm now acting as a consultant for a friend of mine who's building an RX-7 racecar. He's logged over 60 hours on track this summer, and the car is at the cage builder now.

I've helped build 3 rally cars that competed in the Canadian Rally Championships and been a team crew member for a few years as well.

Now, without my car, I'm somewhat hobby-less. I've been playing records for an hour a night for the most part now, which has been a lot of fun.

Too cool. Huge respect to racing team crews.

I wasn't going to sell it, but then some other life opportunities have come up which are more important than keeping my 16+ year old p-o-s.

I loved that car, but if I just left it parked at my Mom's place when I move, it would just rot and I wouldn't get any money out of it.

I will own another one though!

Are you a member of any local groups? You should check out www.miataphiles.com. They're a young group of Toronto Miata nuts. They organize track days, tech days etc. Great guys.

Cheers,

Paul
