but it's ok, no matter how arsenal wins today, cska did the damage at home! they are all but going through!!

and it's still 0-0 at the moment...if it's a tie, cska almost guaranteed first in the group!

daniel carvalho please put one in behind lenhman and shush this crowd!!

Poor finishing from the gunners. They virtually shelled CSKA for 90 minutes but weren't clinical enough in the end. It's probably the most entartaining nil nil i've ever watched but also a very frustrating one since I was hoping to see the Gunners get a result.

I'm still shaking my head over that Rosicky miss. A 10 year old could have tucked that one away. He was brillant most of the game, so how he missed that sitter is beyond me.

CSKA get lucky in London, and leave the Gunners with a lot of work to do to ensure qualification.

omfg, did anyone see the Real vs Steaua game, holy shit, poor Nicolita scored on his own goal... oh well i guess it was meant to happen considering Ruud van Nistelrooy wasted opportunity as he blasted a spot-kick high into the stands.

Posted by Cailleston on Nov-02-2006 07:45:

ya ruud is the captain of my all Dutch team!
a penalty earned plus a penalty scored as captain---bigtime points!!

I love wishful thinking.

Now if you said this about 2 or 3 yrs ago when Greek teams were quite shockers, I'd buy it then.

GOOOOOO CHELSEA, fuck Bremen up

Posted by Yohan on Nov-21-2006 21:41:

What a cracker of a game between Man U and Celtic.

Sweet freekick by Nakamura takes the 3 points for Celtic, although the foul was a bit controversial. But hey, Man U had the chance to tie with a penalty kick later on but saved by Celtic keeper Boruc.

Take that Man U scum!

Finally Ballack gets his first goal in a Chelsea shirt
essien swift as an eagle gets the first goal
did u see lampards missed shot of the post

if Drogba would've pulled of his shot, it would've been priceless!

Why the hell would you be talking about a match that took place more then 2 months ago ?

Chelsea looked woefully short of ideas against Bremen in their last outing. Now, maybe it's cause they are focused on the game against United, but they definately lacked the cutting edge against the Germans.

Or maybe they were doing the Germans a favor -- seeing as Barca is the other team looking to qualify in the group of death.

You can see that during European games, because Mourinho plays 4 centre midfielders, there is a lack of width. Bringing in Robben as a sub IMO is not as effective b/c I think he does better when he has time to adjust to flow of the game as a starter. And he gets stuck playing a forward which isn't his preferred position.

Missing Lampard does hurt too. (And Ballack looks like he's still adjusting to English game)

Eh. I dunno if that's the case.

Losing always sucks. You kinda want the momentum going into big matches in your domestic league.

Say what you want about Mourinho, but a loser (managing wise) is not one of them.

possibly but with bremen having to go to the nou camp on the final matchday i think barca will be fired up and be too strong for them

Eh. Barca injury problem does hurt. (though they do have depth)

It'll def. be match of the day for sure.
