What the hell is up with the DJs at 1234 nowadays? All I want to hear is MC Mario Megamix... top 20 hit parade tunes. Something I can look at Joe Bloe beside and chill to. I don't want all this bullshit house music! No one wants to hear someone who can play good music... who can mix tighter than anyone else on the scene! I want to hear cookie cutter DJs...
Right... so enough about that. Evidently, up and coming DJs who can kill the music, who can make a scene pump harder than anyone else don't belong at 1234. If that's the case, then great... now we know not to go back there.
For those of you who weren't there... Julius did exactly what he does best: PUMP THE ENERGY UP AND MAKE PEOPLE FEEL THE MUSIC. Anyone who has heard him spin knows that that's what he does best. He plays his own music without DILUTING it with ridiculous commercial crap.
End result? TAs know better than to visit 1234 again...
I honestly have no idea what to say about what happened tonight at 1234.

Louis basically Julius wasn't playing reggae so he was asked to leave by the cheese master. I don't think theres gonna be any more of those events after last night. If it didn't work with Julius it sure as hell wont work with anyone else.

seriously though...even if Mario is a cock smoker...how did Julius play?(ie what type of music)?I know you guys might like it, but maybe it didnt suit the venue.Remember that a dj has to adapt to his surroundings, and if he was playing minimal stuff at a club like 1234...for sure hes gone.A dj has to play cheese in that place because he is playing for the regulars and not for himself..then again i wasnt there.

It's not exactly like Julius was playing electro-glitch minimal. He was playing some fairly mainstream'ish shit, nothing too dark or underground, it was simply a stupid booking from a stupid venue. They wanted dancehall and reggae being played in that room since they were rocking MC Mario Megamix in the mainroom.
Anyways this shit happens, hopefully I managed to salvage Julius' night a bit with the 7oz tequila beverages 
Well I guess when you throw a House DJ into a room that usually plays Reggae or wtv the fuck, then the turnout might not be exactly as planned.
ANF said it best, the venue wasnt that fitting to begin with. Anyways I was enjoying the music until shit hit the fan.
