damn they got spanked yesterday by the Sens
I was a bit nervous when Montreal scored 2 quick goals that they would come back like the Rangers did the game before that (when the Sens almost blew a 5 goal lead).

Did anyone watch the game on rds... during the 2nd intermission interview how alfredsson was staring at Chantal Macchabe ( im pretty sure thats not how we spell her last name, so ill call her Chantal McCabe) man he had this perverted glare in his eyes, i guess having a 5 pts game makes you do that, you get really...really happy.

lol I noticed the same thing!
he was staring her down milfhunter style while she was doing the french translation. Normally the players leave right away once their interview is over...but not Alfie. sicko!

Posted by JohnnyJon on Jan-14-2007 19:48:

yeah man it was quite a funny site, i guess his season starting slump affected more then his professional life, the dude cant even be subtle about checking the ladies, sad really, well he's dropping pts a lot more since Spezza's out,but on that note...BOOOOOOO SENS, freakin spartacus drowning our fans BOOOOOOOOO.

Alfie much like Jude Law/Michael Caine in the movie "Alfie"

"nothing better to do in the O-town"

... except watch the Habs get smacked around like lil bitches

Posted by LiGHT78 on Feb-09-2007 05:25:

ooooo man that was ugly.

i hope saturday is better....the habs couldn't even get a good chance, if not for the penalty shot we would've been shut out.

Posted by Marcus007 on Feb-09-2007 05:29:

WTF HAPPENED TONIGHT?

TABARNAC GUY MUST BE FREAKING

Posted by PIPER3112 on Feb-09-2007 09:14:

i dont get why carbonneau put huet in nets when abischer has a 1.25 goals against ave. against ottawa. the canadians are really a boring team these days, when your best players have 20-25 points midway through the season theres a problem

Posted by Pizerz on Feb-09-2007 16:22:

Man, they had a perfect chance to make the gap a nice 5 points if they won last nights game and Saturday's game. Now we gotta rely on them winning Saturday just to stay in the race.

i agree, it's really pathetic. for a little while at least it seemed people like koivu were getting about a point per game, but now we're lucky if we can get a goal a game as a team...the habs are free falling.

i also agree abby should've been in...huet has been absolute shit lately and needs some quality time on the bench.

its always been the same, first half of the season they are strong then they choke

Posted by Spin Laden on Feb-09-2007 19:31:

seems like everyones having probs scoring in this so-callled 'new' NHL.. teams are trapping again. Hopefully all that blatant obstruction doesn't come back.

true...only this year it took longer than last year. i just hope they can make the playoffs, and AHEAD of the leafs. pittsburgh, ottawa ahead of us i'd understand. they deserve it right now.

Posted by all-nite-freak on Feb-10-2007 01:47:

gaineyhas got to deal for some scoring or d.
so hard with the cap now.
everyone is getting on Huets case and that is retarded.Sure he let in a week goal last night, but fuck how many games can you win when you face 40 shots.Carbo is doing silly things and is starting to remind me of Mario Tremblay.Kovalev needs a center, and any goon on our roster needs to be dropped.I love Koivu, but he isnt the leader of this team.Give the C to #44 and hope he re signs with us.
/rant

ps did anyone see the save by Mathieu garon last night

edit im fucked and cant type

Posted by Spin Laden on Feb-10-2007 04:09:

Yeah Niniima's (sp?) a bust like I figured he'd be. Both conferences gonna have some tight races, another reason for defensive hockey and goons being scratched from lineups. The cap's brought some parity as well.

Posted by all-nite-freak on Feb-10-2007 04:39:

even if the stars won on the ribeiro deal in quality, we still won by getting that cancer out of the dressing room. With theo gone his little clique was busted plus i think he is a douche.

Posted by Spin Laden on Feb-10-2007 04:42:

ha ha. Jose. He's prolly the only pro athlete who didn't bust a nut with Paris Hilton

lol. Thing I don't get is wtf was she doing with Brian Urlacher? Nick Carter, Squib i can understand.

Posted by PIPER3112 on Feb-11-2007 16:14:

trade souray hes gonna cost more than koivu and kovalev, go get lecavalier or richards and through ryder in the mix, or even a goolie

Posted by LiGHT78 on Feb-11-2007 18:09:

I agree we should trade Souray...we need a forward who will score us 40-50 goals, and we need that way more than we need Souray. Trade him for a goalie? No way, we've got that Halak guy who's an AHL all-star on Hamilton, and Carey Price in the system also...we're all set for goalies I'd say.

Posted by Marcus007 on Feb-11-2007 18:40:

*marcus pretends to know everything about sports*

Trade Sourey, Johnson and Ninamaa for Crosby! Muahahahaha!!!

exactly. Halak and Price are our future for the next 10 years easily. No goalie needed.

I wish Carbo would quit changing his lines every period!! How are you supposed to develop chemistry if you're playing with a new guy every couple of shifts!!

Posted by LiGHT78 on Feb-11-2007 20:32:

Yeah it's a pretty dumb way of thinking I agree...They didn't score this shift? They're not going back out there together! He was putting out some interesting combos last night though, but there has to be some consistency.
