This thread is still here?
Uh..
2/3 = .66666666666666666666666666666666...
1/3 = .33333333333333333333333333333333...
1/3 + 2/3 = 1
.333... + .666... = .999...
So, 1 = .999
It's impossible to cross a room.
To reach the other side of a room, you must first go halfway. To go halfway, you have to go half of the way from the start to the halfway. To go to the halfway of the halfway, you must go halfway, ad infinitum.
Or.. To go 1/2, you must go 1/4, before you do that, you must go 1/8.. you get my point.
So you can never actually get to the end of the room. You never actually go anywhere, because you have to go half of the way before you do.

it was used by some ancient greek philosophers to make fool of others by disproving obvious things in a manner aforementioned
as real world is not discrete, the continuity of it follows all that Calculus 1 crap.
The Monty Show paradox can be avoided entirely using one simple method. Dont get off your ass, stay the fuck home, and watch the assholes figure it out on the show themselves.
This is retarded.
Each door has a 1/5 chance, eliminating 2 doors before you pick two, or after you pick two makes no difference whatsoever, this is a retarded thread with some retarded people in it.
I'm actually frustrated as to how stupid some people can be and look at things so wrong.

. eliminating two doors before you pick two makes the probability of success of each door 1/3, not 1/5 and your pick equal to 2/3, not 2/5. now go back to school, bitch!
