Yeah they don't seem to be in this thread, but I swear to god they were listed as playing live beneath Ali B in the ITM thread...

Those guys should be on the promotional trail for new tunes by then, I'm sure they'll be there just so I can wave my arms to Love and Imitation and Legacy. Yum.

Don't pack on too many kg's as you familiarise yourself with your couch on the 11th Philby.

Posted by charlee on Dec-13-2006 03:08:

I'm not sure what everyone's complaining about - looks like an alright lineup to me? Better than the last few Two Tribes, at least. Will still be interested to see what Hardware have to offer though...

The date is set and the scene for a Grand Prix showdown! Already a dozen acts confirmed, the finishing touches are being done to the festival which will be on sale late December. We have some very SPECIAL news for the most discerning of music fans. We can't give up much now as the competition is tough and they'll do anything to sabotage our bookings, so you'll just have to wait and see what we have planned. It's going to be VERY special indeed.

lol, sabotage?

Posted by Jose-Melbourne on Dec-13-2006 09:42:

not asking for to much, however i would like too see:

Armin or Gabriel n Dresden or Blake Jarrell...

Carl Cox, ahhh over done.

is it just me or does everyone else realise how shit the local acts are?

Posted by Trance Nutter on Dec-13-2006 09:51:

I'd much rather see Cox than Armin

Line-up looks like it could be a load of fun. Not as good as years gone by but fun all the same

Same here. I'm a bit dissapointed, they seem to have gone very electroey. Oh well, I'll still be there, checking out other acts to see if there's anyone else I like.

Posted by Tsunami One on Dec-13-2006 14:47:

I'm kind of glad future are going it alone, the absolute crap that hardware parties have become is a pretty sad sight. No one ever went to the techno room @ 2Tribes for last 4 years anyway, so why bother.

Lineups are always the same old tired internationals!

Future maybe be catering to the masses, but at least they invest in bringing out new artists and good lineups.

Its WAR, and you know it.. WE NEED YOU!! *points* .. Joking

(See you tonight G, old school styles, i'll save you a t-shirt ... )

Hardware have got some really fantastic things lined up for next year but then again so does Future.. will probably head to both events and check them both out.. why not!!

Posted by Dean Millson on Dec-13-2006 22:12:

I think you'll find that the techno room at Two Tribes was as empty as the Global Underground room the last few years.

And it's also pretty obvious that most of the core hardware supporters weren't very big fans of what Two Tribes had become.

The Digital festival for the last two years has been the best party in Melbourne by far imo. The same tired acts? You've got to be kidding me. Your idea of new artists & a good lineup is obviously not the same as many others - just goes to show that it all comes down to personal taste.

Both crews cater for different types of people/music etc - that's why they've always been able to survive together in such a small market. Both crew have a lot to offer and this city would be SERIOUSLY one dimensional without them both.

Exactly.

Summer will be massive!!

Can't wait.. just hope half the country still isn't on fire I feel so bad going partying, when people are risking their lives to help others *gulp!*

Posted by charlee on Dec-13-2006 22:18:

I think all of these TA's are just a little excited because they have waited so long to see The Egg (live)

"Love dont let me go!"

i'm already very familiar with the couch, we go waaaay back

there seems to be less and less people i'd like to see every year at this event, this one takes the cake.
