cute strawman you got there

20.00 for the cd in juno.

Scandelous price for a 2 disc cd imo. I'm sure the last one was only about 15.

Sven seems to enjoy ripping the **** out fans of cocoon. My mates went over to ibiza for the closing and tickets were in the region of 80

He takes shit you'd usually use as percussion and create an abyss of multi-dimensional melodies and sounds.

you've expressed the essence of minimalism itself. drum-oriented patterns of percussion creating melodies and sounds.

thats why its so good and so rich.

I'm tired of music being slutted out by everything now.

When people ask me why I don't like some tune on the radio/tv/club I always respond that even if it is for all intense and purpose a good song (albeit usually aimed for the public.) Hearing it time after time week in week out I grow very tired of it.

I sometimes wish I could get excited about wank music that gets air play 24/7, cause I reckon I might enjoy going clubbing (just to local clubs, not house/trance clubs) a whole lot more.

Kinda like how Booka Shade - In White Rooms is still being whored out.

hmmm....i dont know rob, minimal techno to me is Matthew Dear, some of Apparat's productions, Pier Bucci, Alex Under etc...

Anyways, isn't techno getting completely boring over the last couple of months? Aren't you tired of hearing djs play the same records? I remember listening to one set from Tobi Neumann a couple of weeks back, his amazing skill and track selection could not hide the fact, that he was playing the usual minimal tracks his peers where playing aswell. E.g - Lovedose (luciano), baby kate, anxiety...and so on.

On the same note, techno in general has a tendency of "copying and selling". Many so call "producers" are now just copying the sound to sell records. If you haven't done anything new, if you haven't brought new ideas to this whole scene, you should go home and practice, you might get good one day.

search google for any place that sells it online, its labeled under either minimal or techno. when minimal tracks are not so minimal, they're called the next closest sounding thing, techno.

ahh, I heard this in some set before..nice!
