i used to like blue nun when i was alot younger lol..
i cant drink red wine cus im allergic to that acid (garvesyre i have no idea what its called in english) and i get a massive head ache and stomach pain after just one glass.. so yeah.. that sucks.. and its not like the morning after, its within five minutes of consumption.. yay for me
must say I tend to get a little jealous of the varieties available in some other countries. Since australia mhas a decent industry of it's own, imports are very few, and tend to be very expensive or very cheap and nasty. I always get confused when shopping in places likle england which have sucha massive range, imported from pretty much everywhere.
On the subject of screw caps, I think they're great. My wife doesn't drink at all, so a bottle almost never gets finished in one sitting. Screw cap makes it easy to store for a couple of days. Not so sure about the storage benefits, as the high end callaring wines still tend to go for corks. As noted in a few posts, it's all about the ceremony of the wine. Most great wines I've had have been remembered asmuch for the company and the setting as the wine itself.

im a huge wino...i was drinking wine for breakfast today at a friends house and his parents were like WTF...i drank the whole bottle by myself..but i told them not to think of me as an Alcoholic haha..
anyways it's all about italian wines for me...i could go on and on listing them..but i can't be fucked.

i stick to whites, reds out of chile or naples, whites from new zealand
