people listen/spin different things throughout their lifetime. Tiesto has said for the longest time that he was looking to spin more house in the future. Has nothing to do with growing up. its his own choice.

Exact same thing that's being said in the Ferry thread. Both of these threads are ridiculus.

Found this funny. I can just see all the ginos on the 9th being like "what the heck is this? Is this trance?"

I guess the word trance DJ for Tiesto, Armin and PVD is kind of pointless, electronic music DJ would be more suitable. But heads up to these guys for playing whatever they want that sounds good no matter what the sub-genre. It just ain't trance most of the time. Even most of the "trance" that most people call isn't really trance. More like synth-pop.

I don't even think Ginos even know what trance is...

he's finally realized the right path to be on! lets face it kids....tiesto is growing up! im sure he will continue playing the "trance parties" but only because he is forced to not because he truly wants to.

Last time I saw that much garbage was when I went to take out the trash this morning.

Only a handful of good tracks out of all that. Tragic.

As for this whole what's Tiesto spinning now debate, I agree with those who pointed out that Tiesto has been including different styles in his sets for a while now. I guess the difference now is that he is including more house elements than ever before.
Some are gonna like this.. others not so much.
Personally, I'd hate it if he would stop playing trance.. but hey, he is an artist and if other styles are appeal to him more, so be it.
By moving away from trance he may be abondoning the core of his fanbase.. yet, it's no fun seeing a dj who is not feeling the stuff he's spinning.
