Damn. Tiesto at the Docks (in the past) has been some of the best tiesto I have ever seen, so I came to his thread in hopes that good reviews would motivate me into seeing him again after a long hiatus.
But to see bad reviews in toronto, one of his fav cities, and a bad review from Nada, makes me VERY skeptical to see him in NYC, were I have never like his shows 
I think we may have lost him!!
PS: The reviews for his show in Jersey friday night were INSANELY good tho, which is weird bc NYC/Jersey people hate tiesto....

Anyways, besides the R&B, was the REST of the set good? gimme something here....
First hour of the set was fantastic, then it lost its energy toward ~2:30. Overall though, great set (if somewhat predictable). Barring the silly R&B mutual Diddy lovefest of course.
Worst part of the night for me was the ridiculous coat-check fiasco. I got in at 11:20 and didn't get my coat in a hangar until 12:45.
Sound system was setup good but could have been better.

Tij's has to make some decisions based on his morals and ethics in the next little while. Its ok that he;s gone somewhat mainstream to spread the music, but, he shouldn't stray from what we all know he loves and what he's about.
Is he about to get signed under Bad Boy Records. Will we see him in a hip hop video as the arbitrary DJ i the back?

Review time!
Venue:
got in quick with very minimal pat down! didnt have to freeze in the crazy wind....but once in...coat check was insane. Meeting Borat was hilarious....
Coat-check was the worst ive ever seen....going outside in a tent to coat check...cant they do like in may dammit. Getting ur coat back was lamer, the dumbfuck guy making u wait in the cold before letting u in the tent to get ur coat.
The sound was somewhat shitty, at least it wasnt too loud to get ur ears buzzing. The bass was distorted at times :S
The crowd was pushier than guvernments I was really expecting Nada to really hurt someone last nite...but didnt happen damn! At one point i was like fuck it, im bustin a move, and if ur walking, ur getting hit.
Some retard 6'2" thought he was a bulldozer and kept pushing everyone, then his girl saying sorry to everyone LOL

Up and down set is the best way to describe it! That R&B shit was WTF, who knows tiesto might turn to TOP40 lol. Tiesto was often building sick high, and was ready to drop a bomb...then nothing...cmon dude

the Ppl going to Montreal for new years to see tiesto i would have sec thought's after last nite i would not wanna go to Montreal 5 hours to get there money on hotel tickets etc etc and he plays a shit set dont take a chance my friends lol.....
sorry to hear people were pretty disappointed - I thought it was a fuckin' awesome night - lots of techy stuff, trance and everything in between...the Slow "RnB" track was I think just a breakdown or the middle of a faster track...I agree it was totally out of place though.
Meh ah well...still a super show in my books.
PS Jon jon...the sound was pretty shit last night - took 5 tracks to get used to the heavy base down in the middle - wish it was a little more clear, but after the first 5 tracks was alright 
good thing i didnt go,...i already have a newyrs ticket etc...hopefully his set wont be similar

Went to the guvernment with a few people after, Jeff, Nick Geli and my other buddies....it was really empty and repetative, the fucking lights were like strobe lights the whole night it was so annoying, at least igot to hear seven cities
