I've been going out since 1998 in Melbourne and have watched many DJs come and go. I've also been lucky enough to watch Mike Nichol play many times. I've watched him mix 3 and 4 decks perfectly, watched as his 3 deck mixes ripped up the dance floors, and was lucky enough to even get a few tips.

Within the last year I have been spun-out with his productions, especially "Paradigm". Seeing Robert Nickson remix this track shows the level at where Mike is at. Mike's tunes are simply awesome and the international recognition he is getting is testiment to his talent.

There will always be DJ politics, especially in Melbourne, but the time will come when Mike gets what he deserves; to play big gigs, and when that time comes, no one will look back, but instead marvell in his talents.

Non sequitur (absurdism), comment which is humorously absurd or has no relation to the comment it follows

um, yeah. coz there are absolutely NO people producing/writing/composing/performing shit music in the whole world are there? making it big or just getting your tracks signed is a guarantee that you produce good music isnt it? you should always judge dance music by which label it is on or which big jock is playing it too. good thinking there.

Heh. Very subjective opinion there.

Guiseppe produces dance music yeah? To be played by DJ's for people dancing on dancefloors right? You have lots of experience playing Guiseppe tracks to big crowds? You have found that they get little to no response from people?

Well thats funny... everytime myself or my fellow DJ's have played them they tear the roof off. Anywhere.. big room or small club.

You are also suggesting that Vandit is a shit label? Shit tunes get signed to one of the biggest and most widely respected trance labels in the world?
Paul van Dyk doesnt know a good track from a shit one? But he rams out every venue he plays at still? Or is that just because he is PVD? So people consistently go to see a DJ who doesnt know a good track from a bad one just because he has a big name?

Yes there is DJ/Producers/Labels that have a badly produced sound, that sound the same as a million other tracks, and have little that sets them apart from the rest. However, Guiseppe is not one of those. Which is in fact the arguement you are implying here with your initial comments?

Might be an idea not to spout off with your opinions.. which really dont hold much water, as fact. When clearly they are not.

You're of course entitled to your opinion, but thats about it. It is your opinion.

Mike didnt talk. I did He is an incredibly humble chap actually, possibly to his detriment at times.

honestly, i am fucking amazed at the deep, deep fucking stupidity paraded by people on this here website so regularly. i mean really. how the fuck do some of you people manage to cope with everyday life without getting yourselves fucking killed? my god.

exactly you fucking cretin. its my opinion that neither half of nu-nrg has produced anything worth listening to since their split. my opinion. which is of course subjective. at no time did i suggest it was anything else. its you fucking arseclowns that must read too much into things. pkc doesnt like their solo projects. thats all i said. i think theyre crap. why you babies feel the need to rush off on defensive tangents about shit i never said is completely beyond me.

i really do try to keep control of my arrogance, but its fucking hard when people are constantly celebrating their lack of mental capacity on a daily basis. its why i have such little hope for the human race. merry christmas.
