Adam,

I would gladly buy these presets, but: I hate PayPal. They are SCAM artists and I do not trust them with my personal information, much less any credit or bank info.

I can even send you dollar bills in the mail (I live in the USA), but I would never ever use PayPal, and neither would many people I know.

Yes, yes, and yes, avoid almost all of these online services like the plague!!!
I only trust Amazon.com with my money.

Hmm...are there any other paying services that are trustable that you would use besides amazon? I have heared about Share It or something like that. Any experiences with that?

Hi Adam, Mark that runs reFX only uses share-it, which I questioned him about when purchasing a VST from him. He has said PayPal is quite unsafe, and has had no issues with share-it. No issues from my end either. Hope this helps abit.

Regards,
Strat aka deceptikon

Personally I have never had any issues with paypal so far. But I will look into this share-it, and try to set it up so people have a choice. Perhaps they prefer that instead.

I have never had any problem with paypal! But i usually use a Swedish service called Payson!

That's my two cents

That is such a BULL$#!+ statement, if I was there I'd smack you!

1. I don't know how my patches stack up to Adam but I put my heart and soul in making patches - and I certainly would have no qualms about sharing them for free.

2. The people I mentioned do not really get paid by access. Some, like Matt Stoley and Ben - may get some nominal payment for doing support and shows but certainly not for making soundbanks. I know it for a fact. Furthermore, there are TONS of patches for virus available on sites likie virusti.com and other places. Actually, the mentality set is that patches ARE TO BE FREE. Sh!t, you can download DEPECHE MODE PATCHES on virus website for FREEEEEEEE!!!

3. The guy who designed DJ Tiesto custom soundbanks was trying to peddle them but no one was bying

and finally

4. If you own a virus (or any other synth) and need someone else to create patches for you - YOU SHOULD NOT OWN A SYNTH!

Many publications, musicians, pros say that the best way to learn your synth is to WIPE ALL YOUR PATCHES OUT AND START FRESH.

This trend of selling patches originated back in the days of DX7 - when synth was impossible to program. The flexibility of programming (and fun) of programming the synth nowdays makes this profession rather obscure and unnneded. Heck, even when Above & Beyond released their banks I listened and said - yeah, that's nice but I won't pay for it. Now, if they posted a tutorial on how they made every single patch, THEN I'd consider paying for it.

The only person I'd ever consider paying for patches would be BT - only because his stuff is so crazy, it'd be worth it. Otherwise, best wishes. I'm not hatin' on your vocation - I'm just thinking its um... I dunno... just doesn't sit in right with me.

that's my opinion. I wish Adam only the best, regardless of how I feel and I definitely mean no disrespect towards his efforts. Let the market bear what it can.

Cheers!

Google wallet but I don't think it's available to international buyers. You can use something like Western Union.

best way to learn how to make good patches is open ur favorite patches and reverse engineer them, bring them back to the default sound then rebuild them up. and lets face it, factory presets, even virus ones, suck for the majority.

There's hardly anything left anymore that can be called "factory presets". The patches that virus ships with are not made at the factory, they are made by independent programmers - like BC, MS, M@, HS, etc. If you feel those patches "suck for the majority" - I'd love to hear what you would consider "top notch patch" on any synth (not counting ROMplers)

Thumbs up

I recently purchased the z3ta+ synth and this soundset after coming across this thread, and I must say I didn't regret it one bit.

Awesome sounds! Thanks very much!

Fo-sho man. I got them too and definatley more than a couple hours of work spent on these! lol

Even if I had a clue how to produce them in the first place it would still be worth it considering what I value my time at.

You do the Math!!!

Thanks again Adam.
