Is there another phase update to come? It says this is the complete lineup though haha,....

plenty of acts still to be announced.

I'm pretty happy with the phase 2 lineup - Hybrid, BT, Stanton Warriors, Uberzone, Sander K, SVD - good stuff.

So having never been to Ultra before I would assume (and really hope) that they do release a schedule of set times, so that we aren't all just wandering around hoping to see the DJs that we want to see? Anybody?

yeah they have pocket sized schedules at the gate with all the times for all the stages

there is another phase to come out. but its usually, what i like to call tier 2 dj's, and locals. you probable won't see anymore big names, tho i could be wrong.

Dude...phase two just made it all worth the money. Even more so because sander k was added to day one....

and sander van doorn...oh...my...god. I've also heard that fatboy slims shows for the past two years have been seriously nuts.

I probably won't leave the Techno-Electro tent, except to see Fat Boy Slim.

FBS wasn't in Miami last year for WMC and 2 years ago he had only one show at crobar. which was ok. he had a lot of technical difficulties so it kinda sucked. so where you got your info I'm not too sure.

You can go out and read DJ Mag, Mixmag, Ministry and the likes about Fatboy Slim laying out some serious damage on whichever party he performs.. festivals and the likes in the past two years. He's appeareance at brighton I believe its the single biggest event and amount of people to go out and see one DJ play.. It was some rediculous number, something like 300 or 500,000 peeps.. it had brighton city in a standstill that day. He's planning to do something like it again.

He's also been doing secret gigs around the UK and stuff.. he's pretty much in the demand now-adays... so for Ultra to have taken that extra step on bringing him, I think its pretty smart.

And last year big headlines were announces just weeks prior Ultra.. I think it was something like a week away from Ultra or something crazy like that such as the killers.

is it possible to buy 1 day tickets?

Yeah Once The Two Day Passes are sold out.

NE ways I just got some news idk if its old or what but tickets will go onsale Thursday at that Rock Star Jewelery place in Dolphin Mall. I wouldnt doubt that some other stores & promoters will have them too by then.

How do you know there is another phase to come out? Ultra says this is the official complete lineup now. Doesnt say anything about phase 3 soon.

I hope your right and that they arnt just locals to be added. Want a few more big names. Seem way to little in comparison to previous years. Dont get me wrong, its a pretty good lineup, but seems like there arnt many performers as previos years.


Bang was more my taste then Ultra this year for a one day event. I figured with two days it would be twice as better as bang. Its equal to bang though ultra is 2 days - IMO.

Still should be fun and awaiting production of the festival.


- AVB and Above and Beyond are in town - be another good add for Ultra if they havnt topped off the budget list.

Good additions, I think. Lawrence, SvD and Fatboy Slim are all worth the price of admission as far as I'm concerned.

Wasn't refering to the states, was refering to the bigger picture...the rest of the world

read some mixmag articles...he has been tearing shit up the past two years and selling out massive crowds.

ahhhh my bad, yea he has been selling out like crazy, i'm really looking forward to seeing him. i was kinda pissed he had audio problems when i saw him in '05 during wmc

when fatboy slim played here in nyc in 04, he played such a ridiculous set!! one of the best i've ever heard, but since he's playing a festival set, its gonna be boring, very predictable... his club sets are worth checking out tho

I also just noticed today that they slipped Monk, Starkillers, Brazilian Girls and a few others into the lineup since they originally announced Phase 2.

i think its crap that fedde le grand is one of the headliners on the mainstage, just cause he had a shitty hit last year shoudln't get him this top spot IMO

Junkie XL live is worth the price of admission IMO. Otherwise I might take a pass on Day 1 also. Sander will be good also, but I'll be hearing plenty of him later Friday night.

I just recently listened to his Ministry of Sound sessions and it was good house for sure hes not that bad a DJ in my opinion
