I knew a vid would leak...Im just glad it wasnt something that was at 8pm on fox during sweeps week type thing. It would have been taped weather the public saw it or not, to prove he is dead. I really didnt feel much over it, I cant imagine the pain he inflicted upon his people for so long. Just of what we do know, its awful. I cant imagine the stuff we will never know about.

it's shi'ite law i believe. Remember some countries in the middle-east cut hands off for stealing etc. It's actually a good deterrent, i dont think we'd have half as much crime in the uk if people actually got punished.

I'd take hanging over lethal injection any day of the week.

The chemistry behind lethal injection makes it sound like the pain is the most excruciating ever. Choking sucks and all but when you feel your entire body die part by part... now THAT'S bad.

Actually, you're not supposed to feel anything, before you die. Letha Injection - first, it knocks you unconcious into a comalike sleep, then the next stage of injections shuts down your heart and brain - flatline...

The hanging snaps your neck more than it makes it so you cannot breathe. It's supposed to immediately snap your neck and kill you, and if that doesn't happen, then you choke to death. In this instance (and more often than not), Saddam died instantly or so it appears.

It should be the equivalent of your body shutting down.

Something close to having a body part fall asleep... just with MUCH more pain.

We talked plenty about this in a Bio-Medical Ethics course I took about a year and a half ago.
