I know, and I'm happily working hard on it It's just that, whenever I realise where I am and how old I am, I just keep wishing I were 3 years younger, which is not a bad thing - that kinda keeps me going

It's not all that hard to intellectualize about the symbolic nature of life, but who could resist the temptation to alter it in new ways if given the power?

Also, since it's just a "show" why not change everything?

Nothing. All the highs and lows that I've went through has shape my life just nicely.

My usual answer to this type of question is that I wouldn't change a thing. I have no regrets in life, just learning experiences. I've made mistakes but I wouldn't really change any of that.

Today, I would change the fact that instead of studying this weekend, I went out. Now I am having to sneak in some homework at the office!!

Just don't get caught! I used to do it all the time when I was in school!

I would have never gotten involved with one of mmy exs.

2 completely wasted years and a LOT of damage done to my self esteem

Saying that though, I'd maybe never have met some of the people that are now so important in my life if I hadn't done this.

If you have the ability to change the worst mistake of your past, and you don't, have you really learned anything then?

I think this way as well, but there are some things that I would definitely change. Things like killing someone, fucking a relative, etc.

what about setting up a succesful bee farm years ago

Posted by Sunsnail on Jan-29-2007 22:11:

Why would I want to change something like that? Even if it failed, I wouldnt change it. Good lessons to be learned from that. Not so much from murdering someone. Even if you learned a lot, you wouldn't be able to apply it very well behind bars.

To all those who say they wouldn't change anything I say BULLSHIT!

You either aren't getting into the spirit of the hypothetical, or you're completely underestimating the appeal of such a power.

I mean, really!

They're just afraid that by using the power the universe might implode.
