i believe this was Oakie at his first Coachella event (held semi-outdoors in the desert)
walked on, started the set on his vinyl decks. however, considering it was nighttime in the desert, the winds kept knocking the needle around. after 3 wrecks, he shut down and walked off the set, never to be seen again

Fucking coke whore shows up 3 hours late, staggering around. Finally gets on the decks and doesn't even try to mix, just slamming one track on after another at any given random moment.

This could be any number of no-talent whores who are a true travesty to any real dj's out there. I'm sooo tired of seeing the "stripper-turned dj" headlining events. What gets me even more is reading these sluts inteviews. They try to put out there that they're legit and "love the music" and "worked hard to get where they're at"... What a crock of shit.

Also, I forgot to mention yet another "superstar" who has yet to impress me on the decks. Self-Proclaimed "Superstar" DJ Keoki. Great producer (even though Dave Aude did most of Keoki's work), horrible dj.

OMG I saw him at MadHattersTeaParty and he just trainwrecked time and again. His boyfriend was trying to hookup in the crowd with my friend(funny story btw) and every song was a vocal about "phuking, sucking, and everything inbetween" nasty shite I tell ya but I was blitzed out of my mind so I tolerated it. But yea, he was trainwrecking eventhough he was mixing via computer. How the fuck do you trainwreck when all the beats are displayed onscreen for you. K-hole? Or just gone off god knows what...

He's playing at an upcoming event I'm going to (Future music festival). I'm only really interested in seeing Carl Cox & Ferry Corsten at the event though, ofcourse I will check others out..depending on when they are spinning..Fedde Le Grand is going to be there too, haha.

Anyhow. I've seen Eddie Halliwell twice and both times I thought he was utter shite. "Look at me! I can use the loop function!" Fucked my groove right up.

Also I thought Martin Solveig was a great DJ until I realised he was mixing off a pre-recorded CD. Which he had the fucking cheek to try and have some bimbos hand out at the end.

EASILY the worst set i've EVER heard live - taking into account thats in the hundreds.

One track i did remember was he played a remix of some Chili Peppers track -
and i LOVE the Chilis...but u just cant remix them.

Of ALL the music i've listened to in 9-10 yrs, that was the ONE and ONLY
time i heard a Chili Peppers remix - disgusting.

The guy was completely not capable to beatmatch his tracks! I mean he didn't even try to do transitions He was just like 'ok, lets play another record now'.. *5 seconds of silence* 'yeah here's another one' *zap* WTF was that?! I never witnessed something like this in whole my life, except for that set.. DAMN! He just played the full records.. I can do that too actually .. He did 2 transitions by using a backspin to make the transition.. ah.. bleh.. i was so disappointed
