Alright alright, let me clarify. First real jam was at a Liquid Adrenaline rave back in 2000, Time Warp 24 I think it was. Man...I was more into jungle and dnb back then but we hung out in the trance room for a bit as well. A bunch of locals were playing, OS or OS/2 I think. First big name was PvD 01 like I mentioned.
I love reading about all these trips down memory lane :P
My first live experience or party was in March 2004 at the Kool Haus. I saw John Digweed and I was in utter shock at how amazing this guy was and what a trip he took me on 
and my two other friends. It was definetly one of those nights when you feel connected to everyone there and just wish the night would go on forever.
I recently bought Digweed's Transitions Vol 2 and am brought back to this amazing evening all over again!

That night changed my life.
A dirty warehouse rave in Vancouver, one where you had to call a number at a certain time to get the location of where the shuttle bus would pick you up. I wore white wide leg cords and about 2 dozen mini-ponytails in my hair, and a t-shirt with the Trix rabbit that said "silly wabbit trips are for kids". It was 1994 and the party was called "eMOTION". Can't remember who played though.
First party I went to where i actually cared who was spinning, i saw Anne Savage in Van, Hallowe'en 98.

Black & Blue 2004, with Gilles Massicotte, Michael Kaiser, Roger Sanchez, Chus & Ceballos, and Mark Anthony. I wasn't into EDM at the time, so I couldn't tell you who I actually heard, but I think I left somewhere around the middle of Roger Sanchez' set. First event I went to for the DJ was Danny Tenaglia at the Docks in 2005.

my first party..well it was more my first "rave" as i was too high to remember where my first party was...it was sometime in 99 in hamilton..no idea who was spinning that night

when i was 15 a friend i new from IRC told me about tranceaddict, about a month later he told me he won VIP tickets to State 01 featuring armin, orkidea, and a couple more guys i cant remember anymore lol. hes from detriot and couldnt make it so he called up the promoters and talked them into giving me the tickets 
so i took my buddy and my dad ( only way he woudl let me go :P) and fuckin went and saw armin at the docks!!!! what an amazing night
side note: HOLY FUCKING SHIT 5 YEARS HAS PASSED
