Nick Warren was awesome...is awesome...he kept tapping me on the shoulder last night and asking me if what he was playing was 'ok' or 'good' lol...
man it got crazy in there...only recognized a few tracks...
16 Bit Lollitas - Neptune
16 Bit Lollitas - Non Verbal Language
Future Funk - Switch Lock (!!! can't believe he dropped this, old school, sounds great through those EAW's)
Sebastian Leger - Saturn
Pryda - Armed
maybe Saturn isnt so bad, lol. I didnt hear one track I didnt like. Also played a dope remix of "Killa" I never heard.. f'ing jammed.. the build / quiet part on it was soo long.. and then it slammed in with a techy-house groove.. so many good tunes.
after allowing some more time for the experience to "sync" in.. I have concluded that one of the tracks Nick Warren played was one of the best dance tracks I have ever heard in my life. I think the last time this happened with a song was probably Digweed @ Crobar. I need to find the name of this song. It had a very pronounced hihat on the 2nd and 4th beat (of the 4/4) that gave it SUCH a groove - unfortunately that's the only part I can describe in detail. I NEED to know the name..
found the track name.. it is:
Oliver Moldan & Isma Ae - Five Five Zero
so glad to hear that, cuz I love Prawler.
god this sounded so bad ass @ Spybar..

Yay! Another chance to see Digweed at a club where I know the odds of me getting in are better than 0/1!

luke fair for free and fuckin digweed on a friday?? nice.
Why did Vision book Hac Le and Mike Khoury the week BEFORE Digweed?!
Hac won Digweed's "Next Big Thing" contest last year (over 2,000+ entries)...John already picked Hac to be his opener!!!
It doesn't make sense - especially for such a big night (in more ways than one)...
