Couldn't agree more.

I absolutely love going to see locals, and we're spoiled in Chicago (as I'm sure others are, especially you LA folk ), and I actually don't get at all excited to go to "big" shows anymore.

The track is bullshit, and reminds me why I no longer listen to Trance.

On a sidenote to half of the people in this thread, quit busting a nut because someone voice their PERSONAL opinion on something. What does it matter to you if they don't like something you like? Grow the fuck up.

this is probably the saddest thing of all. i don't mind this utter bollocks music existing so much, but as for the fact that once stuff like this gets played by pvd/armin it becomes representative of trance as a whole in the eyes of so many... i find that really, really depressing

That's not exactly what I meant. I was simply referring to the fact that a track of this poor caliber being accepted by so many people is deemed "Future Favorite." I know there are still some good Trance tunes coming out; I have a friend who still spins it and from time to time I find myself going, "Wow, I really like this."

I was just talking about how, on the whole, an artist can produce really bunk pieces of music (see: this tune, and most of Sean Tyas' discography) and people will think of it as the next best thing, the be all to end all of Trance when, for the most part, it's utter bollocks compared to what used to be.

Well, sorry to stop the bashing but...listening to this song live is pretty fucking cool, actually.

gay as fuck

i think such a tune is for masses in a big live event. not for an actual repeat the track 24/7 at home and love it...

Not really. I'm glad you think this is great. Good for you.

Posted by RickyM on Mar-24-2007 18:42:

The vocals are a bit ridiculous, this seems more like pop music than a trance record.
Not the worst I've heard, but can't understand why it's getting a lot of play by PVD...I mean, it's not like him to play cheesy shit

when i hear music like this in the club from a big DJ, i get the fuck out of there and head to a small back room where some unknown local dj restores my faith in dance music

if i am at the guvernment in toronto i will head to the drum and bass venue particularly.

it's a cleansing feeling

PVD played it here last month like 3 times when I went to see him. He was like totally losing himself to it and it was only the 2nd time I heard it. I thought it was good, but if I keep encountering it, I'll end up hating it, just like Fedde le Grand's music.

like, totally.

Actually, I could see myself dancing to this if I heard it in a club. For pretty much the same reasons I'd dance to a 2 Unlimited track: novelty goofiness.

Lord help them if they're actually taking this track seriously though...

If this is an anthem, then I am Paul Van Dyk

now ive heard this track a few times in the last week, i think that the melody in the buildup to the first breakdowns ok but for some reason it completely abandons that sort of "cheery" sound and tries to get tough and the vocals dont really match the rest of the track.

personally i would have kept the melody from the 2nd quater of the track and tried to incorporate it all the way through.

originally i had this down for a "end of the night/big room" track but now each time i hear it, i struggle to work out how to fit it in without disturbing the flow of a set.

I don't think any combination of Post/Poster has made more sense in the history of TA.
